Yeah we're not used to it. Seems like Monument and up to yall usually get the most snow. My school was closed yesterday when I was working and also tomorrow, wooo! Pretty much everything around here is still closed tomorrow actually. Definitely going sledding or something

Id say we're up to about 10 inches here maybe a little more. Schools closed but unfortunately for me I am stuck at work

My work is somehow still opened too. I called to see if they were good and they're justifiably pissed but the store is dead. How are the roads around yall?

They had official totals from what looked like 30 different locations today, 16" where I am. Highest totals are 20"ish

Roads are fairly bad. I was driving in 4WD and have snow tires and was still sliding a bit but I was driving a little faster then most. Haven't been out recently but will here soon for lunch. I just wanted a damn snow day, hopefully I get to leave early

Up in Canada it is a chilly 49 degrees. Potential for some rain later in the day. It's terrible.

This is the nicest winter I've ever experienced in Saskatoon. We had a three day melt in January, when it is usually closer to absolute zero with the windchill.

All rain in Central Ohio. I hate everything.

Also, where in SE Wisconsin? I used to live in Lake Geneva.

In Canada you don't catch a cold... the cold catches you.

I'm sad to report that more of the people who live in MN are becoming soft and have lost their driving skills. We had a garden variety snow storm with 8-14" of snow with two straight days of wind gust up to 40 and they closed schools and even closed the state and federal highways. State Patrol reported over 300 accidents which is the surprising part.

We still have a large share of people that can easily handle the weather, I would say at least half the population gets excited about new snow (cross country, snowmobiling, sledding etc..) and as a group, we are not nearly as dramatic as other areas who get snow and think the world is ending. That being said, we are trending towards more weather pussies each year, don't know if it is a generational thing or we are getting more transplants that are not acclimated to the weather.
