Exactly my point. Those who have never been with a woman ...like the two dolts above ...would know that.

Supposed to get our first actual decent snow in a couple years here. The average models have us around 16", some have us over 2 feet, the absolute low ones still have us in the 8-10 range. It sucks, we used to get at least one 12"+ snow every year when I was elementary age but now we're lucky to see a 6-8" and people were goddamn raiding Wally World today and will do so again tomorrow

Every single school in the city is closed. Literally, every school. All universities, colleges, public and private k-highschools, the military bases are closed to non-mission essential personnel, tons of businesses are closed for the day with concerns that the main heavy mid-day snow could trap people at work/school.... Wally World is still letting everyone know to come right the fuck in.

worked as a stockman for a couple years at wallyworld during undergrad. had an evening shift at the tail end of a storm once, called the manager and asked if he needed me. he said yes. got there, and not a customer in the entire store. I asked what he actually wanted me to do, and he said, 'why don't you go ahead and grab one of the new snowblowers and go out back to make a shitload of paths'
so that's what I did. for 6 hours.
was actually one of my better days working there.

Yep sounds pretty familiar. We've seen a decline in business the last week or so, and we were almost dead yesterday. I made the mistake of telling my boss I was handy and used to landscape so I spent most of yesterday patching holes, moving shit, and painting in the pharmacy.

You got that much snow? We only got a couple inches, but supposedly that will turn into a foot this afternoon/evening.

At the time of posting, we only had about 4", but everything was icy and they were closing for the potential of the storm. That turned out to be a good idea. We had exactly a foot in the parking lot at work, 10" at my house, and the roads were horrible but mostly deserted.

Right before I got off, we got word that the County offices closed, the 2 malls closed, the doctor's offices closed, tons of gas stations closed, basically just leaving Wally World as the only place still open. What are you guys at now?

Up to 13.5" since the last post. I love that we're getting this much snow but I'm sad that this is a massive multi-year storm now instead of something we'd see every year

I haven't really seen anything official I don't watch the news much, but I took my dog out and it's up around my ankles a little past so probably 6 inches or so.

Crazy man you guys are getting pounded. I did hear the Springs area was going to get it pretty bad. Maybe a snow day tomorrow for you guys

The official totals are weird. Seems like everyone is reporting way more than they're reporting as the official totals.

Yeah we're not used to it. Seems like Monument and up to yall usually get the most snow. My school was closed yesterday when I was working and also tomorrow, wooo! Pretty much everything around here is still closed tomorrow actually. Definitely going sledding or something

People always over estimate, so not surprising. They also like to go find the deepest drift they can and measure that.
