Yea I guess. But to me its the challenge of getting the FB to that level, i guess see how long it takes. and since they dont run that often he will have to do it in minimal carries.

Thinking about revamping the I've Never Had Sex style team with the 3 rushers. I think my Fullback didn't break many tackles because he only had 58 conditioning and played every snap plus special teams. Plus the HB and QB only had conditioning in the 50's as well. If all had 90+? Different story perhaps?

maybe...i am building my PU FB that way...granted his carries wont be high, but by final build out those carries should be devastating.

I took a FB PUP to Vet without spending a single SP.

I spent everything and only played 4 games at Vet and retired him out of boredom. Here are his stat lines:

RUSH, YDS, AVG, TD, FUM, FUML, CAKE, RCAKED, HRYALW, SACKALW
12, 140, 11.7, 0, 1, 0, 0, 6, 0, 0
5, 8.5, 1.7, 0, 1, 0, 1, 6, 0, 0
0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 0, 1
3, 20.5, 6.8, 0, 1, 1, 0, 5, 0, 0

All over the place, and just not entertaining to wait for sims to see a handful of, sometimes zero, interesting replays.

Btw, final build was:

76 Grip
100 PowR
27 CAwr
45 Bal
43 Spr
99 Con
71 Tou
32 Hea
50 Int
Gold B4I and Freight Train

If I had purchased SP boosts like a normal player, could have gotten sprinting to 67.

Hmm, looks like rushing FB's just aren't worth it. I mean, is there really anything a FB can do that a good HB cant?

Consider that a rushing FB needs to be a S* to be able to lead block and rush at a high level. Although he'll never be a devastating lead blocker if he can run too.

So you lose your blocking FB for your HB in exchange for access to some mediocre FB runs.

In PU you lose the number of carries. In regular GLB2 for a rushing FB you lose the quality of plays that can be called against stiff competition. I know it was brought up before would they put a FB at the HB position if you had no HB on your roster. If so then this might be a way to get some quality running for cheap.

Out of position penalty makes this not worth it. RB is one position worth paying for

Nope, my best has only been 38.5 yards and 1 TD. He has had twice as many fumbles ad TDs but he is only halfway through seasoned. Here is the build...

I just couldn't pass up those sexy caps. I mean for a non S* I can get him to 98/99 Power Running/Conditioning and 70+ Speed. A build like that won't need to worry about lead blocking IMO.

Also I plan on converting him and running him behind the Drunk's BEAST oline.

I am more interested in that build behind a real Oline with good plays being called. That being said I think you should have given your PUP FB a few more games. He probably would have broken a few sweet runs.
