Got a complaint against me today, and for once I wasn't even trying to be a dick. The sheer stupidity caught me off guard.
Guy, just below yelling level: "Why is my insurance not on here?!"
Me: "We submitted it, they said your coverage expired."
Him: "Yeah in 2016"
*pause, me staring at him, legitimately out of words*
Him: "The prescription was from 2015, they will cover it."
Me: "W.. what" *still confused by the stupidity"
Him: "Fine don't help me asshole" *speed walks away, presumably to a manager*
PSA: If your coverage expires, you aren't covered. Didn't think that needed to be said, but apparently I'm wrong.
