The great thing about all this is it will get settled on the field (even though the field isn't real) and the teams that wins it all will walk away with bragging rights and the league championship trophy (which also won't be real).

Well, no, they didn't, they went 8-8 and 4 of their top 5 teams lost. To the extent that you think they did, well, that's fine, it's not really worth arguing about something so meaningless. My point is that you are the 11th ranked team in your conference, which means even if the playoff teams in your conference are pretty good (which they are, and some of them are great), the "we" in your sentence doesn't really apply to you.

Hey, look, I understand why you would want to think that your team is terrible only b/c you're in a great conference, or that you would like to try and glory hunt with the teams in your conference that are actually good. The fact is that (a) you are in a good conference, and (b) your team kind of sucks. When you factor in that you actually have fairly high leveled players, the fact that you kind of suck pretty much points to, well, ownership. So not only does your team kind of suck, but as a team owner, you're pretty much the entire reason for it.

To sum up: Alpha = good. Triceratops = not good. Porch as owner of Triceratops = massive fail.
