Too bad you couldn't vote for him this year...

That's funny. Talk about holding a grudge. Meanwhile I was the defensive coordinator for a team that was not only undefeated but sported a defense with the following stats:
Allowed the fewest rushing touchdowns (by far) and was the 2nd hardest to run against.
Allowed the 3rd fewest passing touchdowns, lead the league in interceptions, interception return yardage and interceptions returned for TDs.
Ranked 2nd is causing and recovering fumbles.
Oh, lead the league in pass deflections too.
One of the best tackling teams in the league.
Most importantly, and gave up the third fewest points in the league (and shut down most every high powered offense in the league).
Of the top three league leaders in interceptions, two of them suited up for the Clan.

Number of Pro Bowl defensive players on Clavenhouse: Zero

I honestly thought my CB, JSin Taylor had a DPOY type season, and he didn't even make the Pro Bowl, but I'll let that go. That my defense played lights out and not only put up numbers on the weaker teams, but stepped up HUGE against the tougher teams in the league, and failed to get recognized is disappointing.

Hopefully next year the voting in Canada AA will be more to my liking.

Do you want a cookie? Maybe a DCOY award? Get over yourself, i was just poking fun.

I just ate breakfast, but I would love a peanut butter cookie for later on.

Haha. It looks like Dan got JSin pretty riled up here.

Easy there J. You and I both know your guy had the best season of any CB in the league, but we're still in the playoffs and have a chance to take home a trophy this year. Rings speak louder than probowl selections, just ask Dan Marino. I suggest you take all that frustration and energy and put it into your performance tomorrow in our game vs the Yukon Badgers. I cant imagine a better way to prove that you deserve to be in the ProBowl than to show up big against a tough opponent while the playoff spotlight is on you.

Actually if we are talking defensive League statistics then the Vikings allowed the fewest rushing TD's, fewest rushing yards, fewest passing touchdowns, most forced fumbles, most recovered fumbles, most pass deflections and gave up by FAR the least amount of points in the League.

I'm just talking about LEAGUE statics though, not conference.

Clavenhouse is crazy impressive though! I agree with the fact you should have had multiple starters on the defensive Pro Bowl. Then again I didn't get to vote for the west.

I think Seth Ford my QB is the best defensive player in this league but whatever you all say.

Guys, CHILL OUT! I did not put any of my personal preferences in this. I went by the voters. If you don't like the results, then don't read it. I'm sorry if your guy didn't get voted in, but that is not my fault, blame the voters.

As for the unanimous votes, that is when every team, but their own voted for them. Meaning they got votes from all but one team, I just thought I should give those players some special recognition.

Thank you to all that voted.

why aren't the East teams next to the player like the West has? It would have been nice for the teams to also get recognized. It is a team sport and all. Or does the West just get preference?

I disagree. What if you only really know your own team? I have no idea of other players in this league really, so why would I send in a ballot, when I have no idea who's playing well?

If you only know your team and dont pay attention to the rest of the league, why should one of your players be rewarded with a league Pro Bowl spot?

because that player out played the rest of the players in the league at his position...

no matter what it should be the best players that get in...it shouldn't be a popularity contest.

Do you have any ideas on how we can address the fact that not submitting a ballot increases the chance that your players make the pro-bowl? There's currently a disincentive to voting and some poor sports might take the low road

If an owner/GM is so uninvolved that he doesn't know the league well enough to vote, or he is such a poor sport that he chooses not to vote to give his own players and advantage, then chances are the owner/GM works for a team who would have the best players in the league.

I had to go to a friends house, and I didn't have time to. I'll put those up when I get the time. With football, and freaking AP classes, time is hard come by.
