I actually kinda like the idea of more people getting recognition. It gives people more reason to be active.

BING BING BING!!! I think this is a winner. It allows both sides to have more guys involved as stated above^^^^^ And also will work to get the 1st and 2nd teams for the "All conference" teams.

Perhaps I am missing something, but won't ^^^^ still only give us a first and second all league team? I was going for 1st Team Zeta, 1st Team Alpha, 2nd Team Zeta, 2nd Team Alpha.

If we get the following players for first and second teams from both conferences, it will effectively double the number of people that recieve honors:

1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 OT, 2 G, 1 C, 1 FB, 2 DT, 2 DE, 3 LB, 2 CB, 1 FS, 1 SS, 1 K, 1 P, 1 KR, 1 PR

Honestly it really doesn't take that long to look over some players from the other conference and make votes. We did this last season with no problems. Why is it becoming so difficult now?

I'm honestly just thinking out loud. We can do it however you want. I'm not the one adding up the votes.

Its because blackout isn't making the Alpha predictions this week, so we have a lot of time on our hands.

I appreciate all the different ideas and options. For purposes of this poll though I'd like to keep it as a leaguewide vote. Everyone who plans on voting please try to have the votes to me by let's say Monday then I'll try to have them tallied and posted by Tuesday or Wednesday.

If everyone really wants separate votes though it's possible but I think last year's was very fair and if it's not broke then why fix it...

Not sure "why" we're not voting for "all conference" (1st & 2nd) teams like the NFL does for the Pro-Bowl. That way more players could achieve "All-Pro" status & gain recognition. - Then, league MVP's could be decided after the championships. Just a thought.

Well for one, they're all playing against different competition. With only one interleague game per year, it'd be like handing out just a single Cy Young award in baseball as opposed to one per league. That's the big issue I'd have with it.

Sorry things got hectic today so have not had a chance to get my ballot done. Will try to get to it tomorrow.

If you still need one for Zeta it's probably logical that I do it!

I would go ahead and send in a ballot (just in case). Always good to have representation.
