Sully, we definitely miss you guys Sully. Whoever, moves up next will have to deal with asnyder and akleine like the rest of us.

Just imagine what fun you guys will have if the Cajuns move up. At least if I move up, I can provide some power rankings and junk.

Clay and I might have our disagreements, but I think our teams generally like and respect each other. Cajuns can at least back it up with wins too.

again, if you knew what you were talking about (hint: you don't), you would know they take forever to setup and tweak. quite frankly, i obviously put more effort into making projections than gtbice did. and yes, i wasn't satisfied with the results, but i was considering switching to a more robust spreadsheet that took more into account than just SOS/PF/PA:

bottom line: i know you're just fishing for something to whine about, but it helps if you've got facts on your side first. otherwise you just look even more foolish than usual.

If you spent all the time and it wasn't what you wanted I guess they weren't very good. I'd prefer gtbice's. He basically made it into a news column. It was good reading. Yours is a plain list that has no commentary. Yes the stats show something but the commentary is what made it interesing. One of these days you won't be so slow at keeping up.

should i be surprised that you're missing your own point? you were talking about "effort", now you've conveniently switched your tune to 'quality'. i already said i was a little disappointed in the output of the spreadsheet, so you're not scoring any points there.

i'm glad you liked gtbice's projection. i thought it was great, too, and i wish he would've been able to keep it up... but its apples and oranges to compare his approach to mine. the quality issue with the spreadsheet i was using (again: not my creation) was that it only looked at SOS/PF/PA. there was another one that looked at performance stats, but it would've taken even more "effort" to set up. and here's a telling point: its output still would not have had any commentary.

in other words, if you don't like the spreadsheet i was using, go talk to the author or something. if you prefer qualitative analysis over quantitative analysis, fine... but that's a different discussion. but here's what was actually at hand:

I could care less what spreadsheet you use. Once its set up its done. All you do is import numbers and its done. That is not effort or time. One of these days you will figure it out...well, from what I've seen so far I guess not.

nope, wrong again. with that spreadsheet, you have to enter each score... twice. which was the whole point behind the macro... except it broke repeatedly and took even more time to sort out. and besides all that, setting everything up the first place still took more effort than you're aware... which is enough on its own to prove my point.

bottom line: you still don't know what you're talking about... and you won't until you actually try to do some projections yourself. i gave you the links to the spreadsheets... knock yourself out. you'll quickly find that trying to "import numbers" is a lot trickier than you're making it out to be. oh, and... the clumsy formatting and the movement arrows were manual, not automatic.

your opinion is utterly irrelevant in this regard because you still don't know what you're talking about. try actually applying yourself for once and you'll gain a little perspective.

Haha.... Cattullus don't let clown discourge you. If you actually address their comments you are infact feeding the trolls. Bratty Children are all the same, it's the attention they need and they don't care if its bad attention or good attention. My suggestion and that of Child Psychologist everywhere is that you only give attention to the children when they are acting well. If we change our reaction they will change their action. So, that will be the tact I take in dealing with our spoiled brat USA A #3 children.
