It was actually the other Gramatica, the one of the Cardinals, Bill? Bob?
How are you feeling about T. Jackson now? I thought his clock management was terrible.

It was Bill, and I don't think Jackson is the problem. I think Childress is a terrible play caller, and is not only holding back Jackson, but that entire offense. If they had a different coach, they'd with the NFC North.

Jackson is a dud. I bleed purple and gold. TJack is nothingmore than a newer version of Daunte Culpepper. Just a bit faster. Good arm, can get out of trouble with his feet, but couldn't read a defense if his life depended on it. Now don't get me wrong he's the best option for us right now, and letting him run more on natural talent is the best option for him. Chili is one place i agree though. He's a decent offensive mind, but his playcalling reminds me a bit of his mentor.. he kep using the same play over and over until a HS team could read the play and shut it down. They either need to find a way to open it up or we're going to fall behind not just the Packers, but maybe the Bears again if they keep their defense playing like it did on Sun night.
The seasons early yet, and I'm not saying the sky is falling, but damn look at the cracks in the ceiling.

Ah it was Bill... Either way it was Pathetic
I will agree that Childress is a horrible Head Coach... Hell I would probably do a better job calling plays! I am a fan of Tavaris, but only because he can run the ball. I LOVE a quarterback who can get out of the pocket if a line collapses on them, and I love when you have to bring guys in to watch that quarterback, opens up ore room down field..

What I don't get about Minnesota is why they continue to draft QBs that have no real college competition. Look at the best QBs in the NFL and most of them came from colleges that played tough opponents day in day out. It builds a mindset that learns to handle adversity. Most of these DII school guys never had to worry about a big time defense and they never learned how to adapt.

Touche.. I forgot about the crappy vision.. I hope he grows one day.. Maybe better coaches, or a tough schedule could help him evolve into a top-notch guy one day..

Like I said TJack to me is nothing more than Daunte "I suck without Moss and Carter" Culpepper in a fancy new suit. Everyone still wants that next "New age" QB, and you know what it's not coming. QB willalways be the one spot that inteligence and savy will outshine pure athletic skill every single time. yeah there has been a handfull of expetions like Moon, Cunningham, um..... yeah you get the idea. Some would say for me to include guys like Elway, Young, Favre and guys of that style, but they are just guys that were/are willing to sell out thei body for the good of the team.
guys like Moon and Cunningham also were known for their legs, but found the most success as a QB after them calmed down and started using their arms. McNabb is a current version of that. Yes he's a hybrid of sorts, but he learned early if he wanted to be a top level QB he needed to not run unless he had to. He sees the field as good as anyone. Tjack, Culpepper, Vick, V. Young, and all of the rest are HB's with arm strength. It's something that can be passed off in collge due to the running of more option plays, and for some like TJACK and Culpepper lower level opponents that they play against.
Give me a guy that will standin the pocket, look down the barrel of an oncoming LB blitz, shoot the ball out to a HB in the flat as his 4-5 option to save his ass and I'm happy. Any Qb that sees a hint of rush and jumps from the pocket is never ng through his progressions and is just using his athletic skill as a runner.

Snootch, I think you're missing the difference between a Running Qb and a QB that can run. Steve "Air" McNair was a good example of how good a QB that can run is for a team...

Dont worry Pity, when the Bears venture to Lambeau, we'll be more than happy to make sure the Colts are avenged!!!
