OMG what a game. I've updated all except the Most Rushing Yards that was just shy of the records. If you find any more post again and I'll update.

Bet Toronto had the most Kick Return yards in one game though

I think the records are a great idea, but it's a bit ridiculous when a good team
plays a gutted team. You should have made a qualification that all records must
come from games where the opponent has no more than 2 CPU players.
I guess it's too late now, but it makes the records a bit skewed.
It's like an NFL team playing a Division III college team.

True, but it is just a matter of time before we end up with a slow build team in the league and then the same issue arises without the CPU players being involved.

perhaps base it on the scouting overall bar?

So where is the line? Is it determined by matchup or just by the lower team being close to league average. For example, there are 4-5 teams in our league with a "42" overall yet the average is probably 36...so if a team is 30 or 33...what's the line for not counting a record?

Longest fumble return: 77 yards
James Allen
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=110663

I know it isn't in the record book... but I think it should be, and this is probably the longest.

Damn, who were you matched up against, a 7th grade JV player?

Pancakes against a player 10 and 12 levels below you shouldn't count. Not to mention your lineman is 16 levels above the backup at both those positions. I'd be embarassed to claim that record. ;-)

It's like the little kid trying to hit the big kid while the big kid is standing there with his arm outstretched and his hand on the little kid's forehead, holding him so far away the little kid's short arms can't reach the big kid. I'd be suprised if you guy even lost any stamina for that game.

Then they shouldn't bring little kids to a big kid game

Besides...almost all these records were against inferior talent. If we are going to change the rules now we will have to redo the whole thing. The current record is like 60 so that one would have to go as well.

How about you guys set some of these records against teams that we did? I believe the only record we have is Most Passing Yards in one game by a team. We did it against the Hudson Hitmen, who in the last rankings, is ranked #3 overall. All these records against the CPU teams should be thrown out. 70 pancakes in one game, 140+ points, 600 rushing yards, that is absolutely pathetic. Do it against a good team and I'll be impressed.
