Does the players height and weight any facter in the game?

for example if I have a DT that is only 278 would it be better to make him more of a pass rusher vs a DT that is 330+ which would make a better run stuffer? or is that just a cosmetic thing?

The admins say that it plays a small part in things, but I don't think anyone's seen enough of a difference for it to matter too much. If you have the exact same stats as someone and going against the same exact competition then it'll probably have some effect, but there are so many other, more important, variables at work, so I wouldn't worry about it.

What´s the point of the money? Only to buy equipment, or can you do anything else with it?

Nope, just equipment and training. When you hit the higher levels those things become very expensive (when you hit level 16, your equipment upgrades cost $50,000 and training on normal costs $1,200/day)

Yeah...you'll start gaining levels real fast and training will start costing a lot.

Thanks for the reply on the height weight.

next question. again sorry if it has been answered somewhere else already. it has to do with the following line in the first post.

"Player energy – is something that directly affects the amount of playing time a player has and the quality of play the player has when on the field."

So does that mean a person's level of play (stats I guess) goes down during the game as they get tired? is this implemented?

For example my DT starts the game at 100% energy. He plays until he is down to 50% and a backup takes his place.

Is there a noticable difference in his play from the first play and the play before he is taken out for a breather?

If so how much? Is there a known calculation?

thanks! I know there are a lot of questions in there

There's supposed to be a pretty big difference, but it's almost impossible to quantify given that we don't know people's energy during a game and there are so many other factors that are involved (the other team's energy, morale, etc). The only things I can tell you are anecdotal. My team played on hard for a game against a team that was a level or 2 higher than us and we were winning by 7 points going into the 4th quarter, then everything just fell apart. We gave up 17 points in the 4th quarter and got shut out causing us to lose by 10. After the game, everyone's energy (including back-ups) were pretty much below 70. You'll see this start to take a larger toll as the season gets past the half-way mark because teams that don't manage their energy well will start to underperform, so we'll have to see.

Has anyone figured out where to set the subsitution ratio to make it as close as possible for even playing time for the back ups?
