you aren't bad or wrong for recruiting a solid team cuz i know how hard it can be to recruit...but to have a lvl 28 player brag and think it's a great accomplishment for beating much lower level players isn't exactly awe-inspiring. it just reeks of a bully picking on the smallest kid and then beating his chest so the whole world knows.

don't get me wrong, you guys have a great team and i think you guys will do well. but your success is a direct reflection of great recruiting by ownership/GMs and it's just annoying to hear an overleveled player brag about dominating a league much lower level than he is.

tell him to go brag on the pro forums about how his player is dominating a bunch of lower level players and i'm sure he'd get a similar reaction from those players.

Because your GM is a great recruiter. Hard to pull that high a level people into an A League squad unless you know alot of higher level folks. Like I said, I tip my hat to your owner/recruiter. But dont fist pump when you beat up on lower level teams and BARELY eek out a win against the number 2 team that you severly outlevel.

No I believe the honor of winning the tourny will go to the Longhorn Legion.

I've updated my power rankings for all of WEA after week 6 (except for WEA1 who hasn't played yet), and the Legion did lose their top overall spot and dropped to #3 overall (Wiesbaden Huskies #1, Amsterdam Fire hold on to #2). After WEA1 plays, maybe I'll add it to another sheet so that anyone who is interested can see it.

Because I haven't included any of WEA1 in the chart, the Vols are at #9 for the time being. After WEA1 plays, I'm guessing they'll be at #11.

they dont. i lost one today. i wouldnt have scheduled a usa bbb team if they did

It won't have the new rankings for another 3-4 hours, but I'll put them on the last sheet there when they are done. I expect the Huskies to stay in the #1 spot even after the WEA1 games. Caveat: with the top two teams in WEA1 also playing the next two teams (West Yorkshire vs. Rome and Edinburgh at Glasgow), the strength of schedule of all four teams will improve and if West Yorkshire or Edinburgh wins, it wouldn't be a total surprise if they moved into the top spot.

I would save the big talk till after the tournament. There are some teams that can make you eat your words.
