Green Bay packers is my team 10-6. Down from last year but still enough to take the div. Brett Favre is a dick btw

Brett is a dick? LOL! After everything he's done for you guys...60%+ wins since he's played at GB, 1 Super Bowl win, multiple Super Bowl appearances and Conference/Division titles, made GB known, and won the MVP several times and made Pro Bowls. Lol you're way off base man, I would be THANKING him.

BTW, I'm a Chicago Bears fan. So no bias, just pure opinion from outside observation

He also threw away coutless more chances to win SB's. He didn't Win SB 31 Reggie White did, reggie brought in the FA's. Brett has alot of personal stats but his team stats are less then impressive. Not to mention he put the Packer org in a terrible situation this offseason with his wishy washy antics, and media attention ways. Green Bay was known before Favre, guess who the lombardi trophy is named after. guess which team has the most NFL championships, guess what team had won the first 2 SB. We own nothing to Favre i mean we were paying his salary weren't we?

Ok guy, you're a douche bag... I am about to dissect this juvenile comment and prove that your either a complete ass or 16 years old and have only been watching The Pack for the past couple years...

1st: "He also threw away countless more chances to win SB's." If Brett wasn't such a fucking Iron Man and put his ass on the line for 253 regular season games (275 if you count Playoff Games) the Pack would of been stuck in the same rut they were in prior to 1992. Do you have ANY idea where the Packers were prior to him starting? I'm guessing not, so let me remind you. From 1970-1991 the Pack were 132-188-7...that's 21 years of losing are ass's. Now...from 1992 to present we are 148-92, the BEST winning % of ANY team in that time frame...punk!

2nd: "He didn't Win SB 31 Reggie White did, reggie brought in the FA's." PLEASE...name ONE FA that was signed from 93-98 that made ANY significance... "93"...Mark Clayton? "94"...Sean Jones? "95" NONE..."96" Don Beebe/Santana Dotson?... "97" Qadry Ismail?..."98" Raleigh McKenzie???? Those are HUGE names!!!
And in that time frame how many MVP's did Favre win....Sucker!

3rd: "Brett has alot of personal stats but his team stats are less then impressive." The best win % in his time frame for any Franchise in that ERA?...Dumbass! "Team Stats" That's cause Favre WAS the team...dipshit!

4th: " Not to mention he put the Packer org in a terrible situation this offseason with his wishy washy antics, and media attention ways." It was the Packers who put this organization in this situation. Ted Thompson has been trying to "build" his own team with the Draft and push Favre out with Rodgers. Favre offered to put 6 million of his salary up to get Moss from the Raiders so they would have a better shot to win, and was "disgruntled" at the Packers lack of trying to improve the team...Douche bag!

5th "Green Bay was known before Favre, guess who the lombardi trophy is named after. guess which team has the most NFL championships, guess what team had won the first 2 SB." And then the Pack fell into the worse losing streak of any Franchise in that time frame, 21 years is a LONG time to be a door mat. Even if your Mom is used to being man handled like that it doesn't meant ARE team has too...Fag!

6th: "We own nothing to Favre i mean we were paying his salary weren't we?" If this is not enough PLEASE see above...I am a Packer fan FIRST, Favre fan second. You have to give the BEST QB in the NFL...EVER... the props he deserves. You name a QB and I will discredit him compared to Favre, best of luck to him in NY...and god bless your worthless, piece of shit soul for ever doubting the best thing that has ever happened to GB since Lombardi!

I agreed with you for the most part until point #4. Brett Favre has done this wishy-washy stuff for the past couple of years. They were through with him this year because this the first time he's ever actually had a formal ceremony. I really don't blame the Packers org at all. I mean, you can't walk into your job at the end of every week an say "hey I might not come back next week." and then come back and say "I have the right to do it." They'll get tired of it at some point in time.

I live in Chi-town and they're only my #3 team. The last time they were really good imo is back when Walter "Sweetness" Peyton. They were good when Gale Sayers was playing too.

Brady isn't 3-8 in his last 11 playoff games which I am pretty sure Favre is. Favre hasn't won 3 Superbowls like Brady has. LOL, LOL, LOL....What a homer you are! Take off the cheese head and let some air get into that small pea like brain. I will always remember Favre's last pass as a Packer, another in a long line of forced passes ending up in the wrong teams hands!

And one other thing Favre has that Brady doesn't, 288 INT's to Bradys 86!

Im just curious rjssob, who do you think is the best franchise in football and if you say the Patriots i know you dont know shit about football

Marino>favre

Favre 26 TDs a year
16.94 INTs a year
3626 yards a year

Marino 26.25 TDs a year
15.75 INTs a year
3835 yards a year.

Marino better in every category.

Poor guy just never had a team worth shit.

Favre was a great QB...one of the best ever..but Dan the man was still better..he just played one year less (so far)

People can claim leadership blah blah but Leadership doesnt make INTs or sacks.

Fouts and Montana of course both were fucking godly out there as well.

Why wouldn't the Pats be a top franchise for this decade? 4 trips to the Superbowl with 3 victories and god knows how many years in a row they have a won the AFC Least...If you are talking over the course of many years I would have to put Dallas and Pittsburg right up there. Pittsburg continually loses top talent but always seems to be up there in the mix come playoff time, as much as it pains me to say so. I'm not sure what time frame you are talking about but if it is over the last 10 years there is nobody better than the Patriots. Spygate was the biggest joke out there, because if any of you believe other teams weren't doing it, you are crazy. The Patriots just were so blatant about it that they got caught and deserved the punishment they got...Everbody tries to steal signals right down to High School.

Yup, everyone tries to do it. Personally, I think I the NFL was just trying to make an example out of the Pats, and Lord knows, a 750K fine and 1(or 2?) Draft Pick losses isn't gonna stop them lol. I'm not a "fan" of the Pats, but I do enjoy watching them and I cheer them on. Plus I'm an Irish fan, and they're Charlie Weis' old team.

-waves little Detroit flag- I miss Wayne Fontes as coach... I miss Barry Sanders... I love watching all of you argue.

To throw this out there, just to be funny:

When the Giants won the Super Bowl, I was IRATE. Why? I hate the Giants, and I love Tom Brady. Why? Tom Brady went to University of Michigan, I was raised on UM Football, therefore Brady = <3. End of story.

Why do I hate the Giants? Because my great-uncle, Roman Gabriel, played for the Eagles back in the early 70's. (...And the LA Rams for his better seasons before that, which is why I'll never like the Raiders and always have a soft spot for the STL Rams)

Hmmm brady definitely has always had a better supporting cast. Brady's pretty damn good tho...I cant lie. Favre is pretty overrated imo. If Brady continues his career like he plays these days he will be greater than Favre.

Being a Niners fan im gonna say Montanas the best!

Over the past ten years i would even say they are the top team but i was thinking in all of football.

Any i would never say anything about spygate because every team does it the patriots guys that were doing it were dumb enough to get caught

Marino never won a Super Bowl. Case closed. You gotta win a SB. I'll agree he was a good player and had nice stats, but you need a SB to back it up. You can spit out stats all day if you want, but IMO, stats are for losers. Football is about winning. That's why you play, to win. Of course, some self-centered players nowadays play to get stats, but look at their teams. Chad Johnson? The Bengals can't seem to get it going. Football is a TEAM sport, and if you don't win, I don't think you can call a player "great". They can be "good", but not "great".

That is a tough question Mpapara, best franchise of all time. Pats have a long way to go but they are closing the gap. I guess as much as I hate to say it Dallas and Pittsburg would have to be Top 5 with San Francisco getting a nod possibly. Curious, who do you think?

As far as that post about Brady always having a supporting cast? Can you name any top WR he has ever had prior to Moss? Brady basically has made his team better each season. He has never had a top RB or WR so that quote is just comical. See if I can rattle this off, Andre Rison, Sterling Sharpe, Donald Driver, Ahman Green, Dorsey Levens, Marc "I love to whirlpool with high school girls" Chumura....
