Upcoming Games of the WeekWESTERN CONFERENCELaval vs. Westwood - Westwood is currently on the outside looking in on the playoff picture, and needs a win to try and move into one of the last 2-3 spots. Perhaps the Bruins are hoping that Laval is looking ahead to next week's matchup with Listowel in which a win will go a long way to secure home field for the first 2 rounds of the postseason.
Tradewest vs. Québec City - The Dirtbags need a win to keep in the playoff hunt. Meanwhile, the Battletoads look to continue their hot streak and get a home game in the first round of the postseason.
EASTERN CONFERENCEWinnipeg vs. Antioch - the Wolves look to rebound from their tough loss in Inuit country, and hope to end the Inferno's 6 game win streak. Winner takes the advantage for home field in the second round of the playoffs.
Puvirnituq vs. Not the Notre Dame Fighting Irish - Although I didn't have this originally as a game to watch, I've reconsidered. Granted, the Musketeers will hold on to the #1 spot in the East regardless of the outcome, but Halifax/Notre Dame Fighting Irish/Copyrights has a talented group that should give fits to any team in CA2. A win would be especially timely for the Irish as they look to keep the #6 seed and in pace with Hamilton and Lancaster who are almost guaranteed victories this week.
