Incidentally, there has been a minor change to the computation to take into account quality wins against teams with equal or better records.

While subjectively I would put GG and Normandy right at the top, the math says otherwise for GG.

Check your math! While Flying Monkees should be ahead of us with the H2H, they shouldn't have moved ahead of us THIS week. They probably should have been ahead of us all along.

That was because we faced the Enzos . We will see where we are ranked after this next brutally tough game against Porto.

but we faced an undefeated team and beat em. that doesnt make much sense. but we will try and let our play on the field take care of us.

Math has been checked. If I hadn't made the formula adjustment, FMA would be below GG, but the stallions would have still been ahead. I'd say the current rankings are preferable to that situation.

ALPHA CONFERENCE

Global Gym vs. Dublin - A potential preview of the first round of the playoffs, the question is: can anyone stop the streaking Purple Corba's right now? The Anarchists will give it a try. With a loss, the Anarchists will still likely hold that #7 spot, but still with games vs. the Volunteers and Shady McKrackers to end the season, the Anarchists can't coast just yet.

Porto vs. Antwerp - The Wolves currently hold the #5 spot, and need some help from the Armada to move into a first round home game. Holding serve this week against the Sofa Kings will help as they hold the head-to-head against the Flying Chimps (who end the season with tough games against the Stallions and Knights). The Sofa Kings could all but secure their spot in the postseason with a win. A loss could put them into a tie with the Aces and Mobsters, setting up an important game next week against those same Aces.


ZETA CONFERENCE

Fighting Eisenhowers vs. Al Bundys - Another must see game. The Panthers simply must win this game to have any chance at securing home field advantage through each of the first two rounds of the playoffs. With a win by Ike, Normandy can almost coast to the undefeated season (although Mannheim can always be dangerous and can't be taken lightly).

Dublin vs. Tilburg - Another potential first round playoff matchup preview. With both teams sitting at 9-3, the winner gets an early advantage at securing home field advantage for the playoffs, although the Lightning probably have a little more room for error as the Shamrocks still have Polk High and the Stallions left on their schedule.
