Anyone else remember Johnny Unitas (one of the REAL Top-3 QB's of all-time) as a Charger? - A sad end to an incredible career. Hope Brett's doesn't end on a similar pathetic note.

It's Favre.
Nice catch Red! - That was my point exactly. Back around the time that the Packers won their last Super Bowl & Gunslinger Brett was leading my homeboy fantasy football team to yet another championship, my ex-wife bought me a signed Brett FARVE plaque as a Christmas present....
....yes, the engravers misspelled his name too!
LOL
As a diehard Vikings fan I have hated Favre like Mary Kate Olsen hates food. overall I still give credit where it's due, but good lord not the top 3.
On that comment that was made about needing the last name to start with an "M" I would also add the letter "E". Again I wasn't a huge fan of Elway's, but the guy wa always a game, won the big one a couple times (Say thanks to TD for those), and had the better career IMO over Brett. Favre will forever be hated in MN as the Pucker he was, but without him the NFC North wouldn't have been nearly as fun being a fan.
It was always fun watching Favre play, he threw a lot of picks and made some bad plays but man, he threw the damn ball around. He always played hard and, as much as I hate to sound like Madden here, he always seemed to have so much fun playing the game.
I too am cursed with the shame of being a Vikings fan, so I watched Favre play at least twice a season and often more. In the mid-90's no one else could touch him, I know Steve Young kept putting up better stats but Favre was just something else. It's too bad he feels the need to hang on, I'm afraid he's just going to put more blemishes on a legendary career.
They said the same about Montana, but no one remembers him as a Chief now.
As a Chiefs fan, I do. Obviously, he is a hall of fame 49er, but he took the Chiefs to their only AFC Championship in my lifetime.
I don't think Favre is in the top three QB's of all time. Fantastic quarterback, but there are too many legends up there that are ahead of him.

I do actually, but only because I was just looking through some old football cards the other day, and was looking through his rookies cards. Along with the Marshall Faulk rookie cards with him int he blue and white Colts gear.

I know, and that worked out well, but I still think they would have been smart to have tried keeping him even after getting Adia. That would have been a hell of a 1-2 punch for them
