we did screw up in season 1 and 2 by not waiting though. i'm still kicking myself for that.

Waiting to boost at a high level will make a very small difference unless you do it over a few seasons and that "extra" XP adds up.

If you do it in the first couple of seasons, its a significant advantage.

Nope my words were clear, MB was lucky no one emerged like last season to take the 7th and 8th seeds. A couple wins early by a couple teams could of had you easily out of the playoffs. Also when you guys boosted it was more of a necessity not so much strategy at that point, it only makes sense to wait until the first playoff game to boost, you guys did it in the middle of the season.

Start of the season you guys were very poor. 3-5 to start the season is bad. 3-5 to make the playoffs anywhere on the planet, lucky.

I do understand your point of view now that u explained it better, but i'm still not sold on your idea of how we got lucky.. Our first 5 games we went 1-4, yeah that doesn't sound all that great but if u look at what teams we played it makes sense.. We lost to the number 1,2 and 4th seeded teams (i won't get into who boosted out of those teams)..You get past those games and with good gameplanning we could win out, unfortunately our coaching staff had real life issues that needed to be dealt with but once they got back u can see the results..(like beating u in the playoffs)... And the whole necessity thing, i don't know about that.. We boosted right before we were playing the bottom three teams in the division, but this one could go either way so we will leave that one be..

Based on average team levels from last playoffs to this year, I think we gained about .75 of a level.. I think the benefit of waiting to boost this year is just magnified because of the lvl 24 equipment...

Everybody started season 3 around level 16. That was pretty much standard for A1.

We started at lvl 14 but we're only a second year team.

we were 17-19 and we boosted early both seasons. you should have been higher unless you didn't create players season 1.
