Sorry man but SanDiego isnt planning on hooking you guys up with any ticket sale revenue. Maybe I can get your fam some bottom lvl seats but thats probably the best I can do. And yes, they have to pay.

There's a lot that could be said here, but I'll make it very simple for you. Your attitude at the start of the season was that the league ordering was:

HI
everyone else

You even expressed this explicitly. After you collected a few losses, I pointed out that maybe you guys weren't the toast of the league. At that point you refused to back down, which honestly, already made you look pretty silly. Obviously, HI is a good team in this league, but not head and shoulders better than the rest. You'll get some vindication, sure, if you can win out, but that remains to be seen.
