Hmmm...while I think that your team is very good, and never thought it was overrated, it takes a lot more balls to call a team out for being overrated *before* playing them then it does to come in here and talk shit after the results have come in.

I agree that my guy started it, but you don't win any points by coming in afterwards and stirring the pot. Seems to me like you did sit idly by...until it was safe to say something.

And now that I've said my piece, best of luck to you against Lyon. It should be an epic battle, and I know you guys will give them everything they can handle and then some. Regardless of which of you come out on top, I know that Zeta will be well represented.

Not that I imagine that any of you really care about my opinion at this point, but to me, Alpha has the better conference overall, but Zeta is top heavy. I'd take the top 4 in Zeta over the top 4 in Alpha any day...too bad we don't get more inter-conference games to see how that would play out. But my money's on either Lyon or Marcy to take this whole thing. Even though we got bumped in the first round, I'll be eagerly anticipating the title game.

Well, it was the first time I read these forums, I usually just read the ones of the team I GM for, but I saw the post and responded to it. Besides, it's one thing to say something, it's another thing to say something and have the facts to back it up like I did. I don't care about your team, or any other team besides my own, until you start talking shit (and it's not YOU you, it's a general you). And I didn't need to win any points, you guys did. About 16 of them.

Look up 'big' words next time before using them. As for playing for the championship, I believe we already are, against Lyon. It's called the conference championship. Try to keep up here, it's not that difficult.

And yea, you beat us. Congrats. But if you have to rely on the other team missing field goals to win, then you're in a lot of trouble next year. As for figuring out what you were doing, you sure had Wicklow fooled. They only scored 36. They should have easily had 70.

OK...I think I need to issue a gag order on my players talking to the "press" until the season is over. Mick...lets not give Karma a reason to jump off our bandwagon & hop on Lyon's. You can talk all the shit you want when the season is over...especially if we are holding up a trophy, but lets stay away from hornets' nests until then. Cool?

Also. I just want to note that as the owner of the Marcy Projects, I personally have a lot of respect for Death Valley. They seem to have a good thing going with the chemistry of their GMs & they hustled to get a roster full of good players...very similar to my team as well. And their owner seems like a class act (also like my team..."wink").

I have no doubt that they will be among the top teams of the conference again next season & probably won't be there all too long.

As an owner, I know the work involved in putting together what we have done (you are just as deserving of anything WE get this season).
