lol, you guys had weaknesses against the giants, the ravens, and the eagles, two of those teams you beat, almost beat you. hate to say it though, the ravens won that game, that was a call that shouldnt have been a touchdown, he was clearly bobbling the ball.

I don't know about you but every team is beatable in the NFL. It's a matter who plays better in one game and the Giants played the game of their life against the Pats and deserved to win so I won't knock the Giants. But if your trying to tell me that in a best of seven series the Giants would beat the Pats then your not very smart. Pats have more talent and a better coach than any team in the NFL. Eventually a team has to lose. It's crazy that they are the only team to go 18-0 in a season at one point and barely lost in the Super Bowl. Tyree made the catch of his life and it was a incredible catch. Giants got lucky at the right time and hats off to them. There is always gonna be close games with some teams cause their styles sometimes match well against other teams. The Eagles play physical in the secondary and it showed in the NE game. I was at that game and the Pats Defense played like shit. Look at Greg Lewis's numbers and you'll see almost all his stats came from only that game so he obviously played better against NE cause evryone steps up their game against better teams. NE just happens to be one of the few teams that gets everyone's best shot. Gaffney had possession of the ball at the end of the Ravens game so I don't know what your talking about.

exact same amount of time to recruit
exact same player pool to go after

a good year this year, and a bit of money from some home play-off games looks like it'll set us up very nicely for next year, as everyone knows how much easier it is to recruit to a winning team.

It's been happening in the Salary Cap Era quite a bit. The Pats went 9-7 the following year after their 1st Super Bowl and just missed out on the playoffs by a tie breaker with the same record as the Jets and Dolphins so it's not as bad as some teams completely falling off the map like Seattle and the Rams did. Your crazy if you think NE ain't making the playoffs this year considering they are in one of the weakest Divisions in Football. They'd make the playoffs with their rookie QB never mind Brady behind the center.

There's a big difference between making the Super Bowl and winning the Super Bowl, Roy. A team that loses the Super Bowl is actually pretty likely NOT to make the playoffs next year - but the same isn't true of the winner.

So what if he invested more money into creating extra players for the team, that is his prerogative if he chooses to create that many players, I did it, I know of alot of owners who did it to when the FA agent market is as shit as it gets and you're forking out alot of your teams money for just a low-level player. As I am also an owner in AA I would have to say some of the better recruited teams in the A could be very successful up in AA, there are some shoddy teams in that level and if you have a good team with a good game plan, you could go far, just look at the AA#2 Eastern League leaders, they were out leveled by every team, but they went undefeated.
Oh and as for your comment about spending money on your own players, you're the one whose pathetic for calling him out on it. Everyone is entitled to play this game and spend their money on it as they see fit, because it's their money and their gaming experience, and if you don't like that then don't open your mouth up about it because no-one cares.

No. I have 5 starters and the rest are backups that are being retired at the end of this season that I only created to be fill-ins while we waited for players to accept contracts. That's something you wouldn't know anything about though, spending $50 bucks on a browser game to waste your time making stupid ass press conferences and thinking you're superior to anyone because your team had a higher simulated score then the other.
