I do believe the DeadMen are ranked slightly too high…….maybe 6th or 7th, perhaps lower.
Ya see, the little fellers don’t have “names” this time around, just a letter or two and a number.
So…they’re kinda down and depressed, feeling like I “own them” somehow, and they’re not responding too well to their “lack of identities”.
In conclusion, I don’t got no idea what direction this team will take, gonna be a game by game ordeal.
I do appreciate you taking the time to try and boost their confidence, just hate to see them crushed when they can’t live up to the expectations you’ve set forth.

Yeah..............I don't buy that for a second. LOL
There's a word for that.............sandbagging. I expect the Steamers to start "steamrolling" their way thru their opponents now that preseason is over and the regular season is kicking off today.
Now.......I'm off to gather my DeadMen dots, who have scattered to the yon regions of my desktop and herd them back into the game. They may be dots, but they can apparently read, and after reading that they face the Yaks today, it was mass evacuation.
At least this season I can ID them from their letters and numbers, rather than figuring out names.

funny thing is I thought that's what I was doing last season, but when it came time for playoffs, turns out it wasn't actually sandbagging and we just sucked

Looks like the new ownership does have some experience with a rookie league trophy from last season so hopefully they will get up and running.


Bought flex last night to finish out the team but hasn't come through yet. We'll be a little late to the party but I'll get a team together.

On a more serious note..........just gave last rites to my players. Not that hard when ya get down to it, mainly just "Dot Dot Dot Dash, Dash Dot Dot Dot" til they felt better facing their impending doom.
