NFL Draft Busts-

JaMarcus Russell is the wrong era as is Ryan Leaf may I recommend:

Todd Blackledge at QB - he's in the same class with John Elway and was taken before, Jim Kelly , Tony Eason (who was fairly decent all things considered) Dan Marino, Ken O'Brien.

While O'Brien never made it to the big game , he did lead the league in passing before injury derailed his career - EAson got the Pats to the SuperBowl, the other 3 are 1st Ballot Hall of Famers......

and then there is Todd Blackledge who started only 29 games over his "career" .

The defense will be the same as all my other defenses...zone.

The offense will be "old school 80s option" (Nebraska/OU types...wishbone, power I, etc...). Can't run the option (which sucks! I've been asking to add option for years). So it will be a run 90% offense with an occasional pass to throw off the defense.

Next player I will reveal is going to be a Hybrid WR....run blocking/catching.

O - Gonna roll with a S* QB and pass more...
D - Two lockdown CBs and couple S*(s) up the middle...

Introducing....the Hybrid blocking/catching WR for 1980s College Football Legends.....(drum roll)

Michel Irvin!!!

Standing at 6'3, 220 lbs, Irvin can hold his own against the weakling CBs while blocking on the outside. And if the defense goes all run stop against the wishbone, they will toss the ball over to Irvin who can take his weaker CB one on one and crush him with his power running and YAC style.
