Something I do think you guys are forgetting though is that a lot of you are essentially legends of the game at this point. The average player isn't going to have a coaching record with thousands of games on it and dozens of championship wins. In fact the average player probably won't have a coaching record at all. We are in a weird time in the game where because of that "big season" we had a while back (Season 44 I think?) as well as the lovely pandemic keeping everyone inside, a lot of the really good old players came back and decided to stick around. Like bro, six months ago we had two less rookie leagues as we do right now.

I had two teams recently before Covid/"The big season". The first was a rookie team that I reset after sophomore. The second I reset after sophomore too. Both were actually pretty good and one actually made it to the Tinsel League finals as a rookie team. During that four season period though the hardest agents I faced were Agerm, bluelightning, Ghanima, AltBruce, OSIRIS, and Ph33P. Compare that to now where If I created a rookie team now I would have to deal with a TON of really good Agents. This isn't exactly a normal time for the game.

While you guys are at the point where some of you're so good CPU games are like hell on earth to you I must admit I do feel a wicked sense of glee when I crush them. XD I also can see how out of tier games could upset a new agent like Dradaki who has a pretty good record but less than 100 games.

All in all though I think we should just keep the system the same. Seems like anyway we decide to change it would just cause more problems in other areas.

I like playing CPUs. I don’t really crush them but it saves me from the burnout from game planning 4-5 nights a week.

which is why I'd love to have an all cpu league every tier

it would be really cool if we could do that and also have some community playbooks and tactics made for the cpu to use. make it a contest

Appreciate the kudos in there, but Agerm deserves most of the credit He's been a match made in heaven for me and the Sooners squad. When the Sooners reset, and if all things go according to plan, I'll purchase a second team that I'll end up trying my hand at coaching and guiding the player builds, depending on if Agerm continues playing or if he takes a break

Same. Probably the simplest solution and won’t break the game.

My S* Power back build would do great on a cpu team. I think aboddens HB Lauren would do pretty okay too. Ooo could build a S* QB that can't be sacked for a cpu team lol. Couple of coverage LB maybe a pair S* DT. Or heck what about a full S* O line. Instead of templates for all CPU players and teams just a few impactful players here and there

for me I just have a set template for the cpu games so my teams get the same set up for them. Makes zero gameplanning and like you said a relief from gameplanning every night. I would love a bit more competitive games, which saying that I have had so far this vet season. all of my games have been good opponents so its working well for me on a balance now.

Mayby just use copy of some old school teams as cpu teams? With their playbook? That would be cool.

I like the idea of each cpu team having it's own identity... say the Louisville team runs coverage zone on defense, and its an inside rush offense.

This would also be good to add in the cpu dots having templates I keep asking for.

I'd love if the devs would let us design templates and playbooks for cpu teams and keep it as a permanent fixture.

If a CPU team ran a human style playbook every game wouldn’t it be easier to blow them out? As it is right now it’s kind of worthless to game plan for them since they run so many kinds of plays. Humans generally do not and have barebone playbooks.

I think the biggest detriment to CPU teams is their horrible random builds. I know it has been said countless times but I would love to see CPU player templates so a QB was a passer and a HB was a runner.
I still really do not like playing up or playing down but it is the closest thing that we have to the relegation system that has been proposed.

Honestly I don't think CPU builds are that bad even with their random builds. In pretty sure the skills allocation is at least somewhat weighted for different positions.

The SA selected leave a lot to be desired though. Maybe force CPU to always gold abilities first? And even then only pick the most generally useful abilities

I think a bigger failing for CPU teams is the plays they are calling and the tactics they use are outdated.

CPU builds are boosted players that theoretically are generalist players capable of doing a little bit of everything but nothing at a high level.

A problem with that is there are too many skills that are SP "dump" skills. Most skills are actually useful but adding points to snap reaction on a kicker isnt as valuable as a kick accuracy. or add blocking skills to a HB isnt as valuable as sprinting and so on and so forth.
