I am definitely hot garbage at coaching

I can build a decent HB or DT, that's about the end of my skillset.

Yes by definition thats what he did. He made a post calling me out and complaining, i replied with a full apology and the plan set to correct what was done, he fails to even acknowledge the attepmt and continues to complain, so he gets called out for being ugrateful, just like a cry baby who doesnt have things the way they want it.

I had already apologized and attempted to correct what i admited full hardedly was my fault for not checking if the other team osiris was apart of was inactive. I assumed thus became the ass. I wanted to send a new coach contract hut before i could he posted this calling us ungratful losers. No the entire team has nothing to do with your release. That was 100% my fault. I was looking forward to playing you because you are such a threat on both sides of the ball. I never inteded for any of this to happen the way it has. I wanted to chance to correct. Was not given it. And yes maybe replying the way i did at 6am soon as i woke up and am aggervated, once again ill even apologize for coming out so strong with defensive words to stand up for my team.

On the plus side this is the most active the forums have been in awhile haha. This kinda illustrates Osiris original points pretty well.

I'm still in favor of a skill based league with promotion and demotion. I really wish we had the player base to run both the current format and the one proposed

I dug into the forums a few years ago to try and learn why things work not just what works and there's some good stuff you just have to really dig back because its pretty old especially now. I'm still not great at defense but much better than I used to be by necessity. Its hard to find a good defensive coach who has time to spend gameplanning for my team because most who are better at it than me already coach there own team and multiple others. Plus now we all end up playing each other at some point so probably best I figure it out on my own....thats at least how I felt at the time. The forum info is old and somewhat outdated but a lot of that info is still true today. It takes a lot of work...at least it did for me but Im hooked and will probably be here until there is no here. I started playing GLB 1 in like 2008 or around that time and GLB2 to me was 100x better because it takes a lot less to game plan while not being watered down to much. at least in my opinion. Another thing I use is GLB2 scout tools play list that shows % plays ran in each tier against non cpu teams and at what rate they work. I then try them out and can see in what situations they are more successful against what formations. Don't always have time for that but this past season Ive had plenty

I don't know if its been done before but this time around I'm building a team around 2 star TE's a star HB and QB. I dont know if that's a good use of star positions as they are limited but I'm hoping it works out...lol had to give up a star safety and linebacker spot I usually run to do it.
