I'm disappointed. We never got to play him. I'm disappointed the Robots are gone. We wanted to face them again, too.

What really hurt my team is we played GE while he was active and lost a close game. Now every time that team gets blown out it is going to be a big hit on our ELO.

shouldn't be to bad since it was an early game. If I understand how that works wins and losses don't count as much early on because over the course of the season teams separate themselves more. I could be wrong though.

Doesn’t work like that.
It works based on ELO at the time of the game between the opponents.
You won’t lose ELO as people beat an absentee owner. Initially they’ll gain a lot of ELO for beating him but as the losses pile up, the ELO reward for beating him will go down.
It has no absolute effect on you and the relative effect is short lived and only helps the few teams that play him until his rating falls.

I wasn't sure if it took things as a whole or just game by game. As a whole it would be bad losing to the worst team in the tier.

I think it would be funny at the end of the regular season if we finished 1st in ladder and 3rd in our division... It's not totally out of the realm of possibility.
Whoever does the balancing season to season really needs to up their game.

I ribbed GE because he begged for it. He was good for the game and the the game is much diminished without him.

i guess losing to Xars was the final straw, 10+ seasons probably since the last time they played at vet and GE still cant beat Xars TRIPS lol

I guess so. It was only one loss though and it was a close game. We started 4-4 last season and won. No Bronx, BSB, Kentucky, GSM, he could have easily been right there at the end and most likely would have been. The Ice teams would have cannibalized themselves.

he also had a game that never ended that probably had something to do with it too. I expect him to come back eventually.....hope so any way.

Nice win Cobras. Hard to do anything when we cant even run a few plays on a drive without committing a turnover.
