Personally I don't believe we are a top team right now. Offensively we just aren't ready and won't be ready until we have the ability to run the ball with our new superstar HB. Defensively I don't want to use our LB's as pass rushers and that is going to make for a bumpy road until our dline can create the pressure. We have the ability to beat teams but we also have the ability to get worked over by anyone as well.

GG Nebraska. I don't know how we continue to pull through in some of these games, but sometimes it is better to be lucky than good.

I'm not going to lie 21-0 at half i stopped watching as i thought we were just going to throttle you... imagine my jaw dropping when i saw we lost. You guys played tough and earned that one.

I pretty much did the same but then I just went to PBP page and kept refreshing and suddenly the game was 21-17 so I started checking in again.

I just figured with my sit back bend dont break defense you wouldnt have the time to move the ball for 21 points... I'm going to guess we just fell apart on offense and started missing passes.

This pretty much changed the course of the game.

Without that I think you guys handle the rest of the game. But that was a game changer.

Was there a hotfix for blocking?
My O-Line suddenly decided to start blocking today, and it made a world of difference... Completed 80%+ of passes, and running game looked miles better than it has been against a pretty solid Boston Blizzards D defense

Naw, was probably just the lack of penalties to skills during the nice day today. Even the wind was minimal at 3mph. Just a perfect set of circumstances for well built teams.

Crossing my fingers I get a cake opponent for the ladder game this weekend, as I won't do really any scouting at all - I'll be traveling to Dallas, TX to watch the real-life Madison Bulldogs (JMU Dukes) take on NDSU for the FCS National Championship (ESPN2, noon ET Sat if anyone wants to watch the team my GLB2 team is based on).
Anyone else here into FCS football?

Known a number of guys that went to NDSU. UMN-Duluth was just reaching Division 2 status when I was around and although they hold a couple of championships there I think they are a far ways off yet to becoming FCS affiliated.

What game were you watching?
it essentially came down to the last few plays of the game
Dropped passes lost us the game... Two wide open dropped passes that should have been TDs (14 points). Instead we got 3 points... Tough loss to swallow
I had various NDSU fans come up to me after the game telling me jmu was the better team today - sometimes the scoreboard just doesn't reflect it

Tbf, when i posted that it was 17-3 and before the end of half almost score.
But you are right. JMU showed huge after that.
As for whether they were the better team...eh...that's tough to say. NDSU was the better team until I posted what I said. Which was almost an entire half. And they won. There's that.
