So - looking at a FS as an example - every skill has an extra 500 sp in it to start.
Assuming the following are important or at least useful skills:
man awareness
cov tech
int
zone aw
def
tackle tech
power tack
tack grip
brb
hg
def cons
purs
bal
quick
vert
cons
foot
sprinting
div
tough
intim
heart
That is 22 skills
22x500 = 11000 in extra skill points for 12% salary cap hit. Seems pretty darn strong (as others have said)

Definitely worth the cap hit.

i dunno. i haven't been entirely impressed with gold star knowledge.

has had gold knowledge of over will and cover 3 tiger for 2 seasons now and i haven't honestly seen much a difference from it.

Now realize that a FS Natural-Superstar is going to have 11,000 extra SP, but able to buy skills at 80% of normal cost.
Easily worth the 12% hit. Egotist is going to the junk yard.

Did the int effectiveness change? The rebels have made 3 ints in a quarter in a half against fury.. something is amiss... 1 by a cb 2 by a lb... strange.

I found recently that intercepts are more common as you go up, and I think higher pass technique also makes it easier to intercept the balls, plus fury may have gotten some good rolls there

No Offseason changes from C-Dog this season. I fear C-Dog has left us for a younger sexier game that doesnt bitch as much as we do.
