wow almost upset me bloodhounds... zero energy sacked you 16 times and hurried you 23 more and in the second half you just lit the shit up lol oh and i recovered 3 fumbles lol

I cant give credit to teams when i lose on some bullshit....instead going for a fg like any real football game. i say fuck it. The score at this point is only 16-7 late in the 3rd. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/361395/797480 We say fuck the field goal which is the smart thing to do because you know.....A WHOLE QUARTER TO GO. instead we go for it and of couse with the wonderful glb2 rolls we fail and waste a whole drive. we ended up scoring again 16-14....and lose the game. we kick the th fg in the 3rd and we win wtf is up with this game man..

i know i sound like an asshole but jesus where is the football smarts? why cant i control that situation...this is why shit still needs to be fixed on here. i could see if i was down to my last drive in the 4th but honestly thats some dumb shit

You're well within your right not to be happy, you got screwed and in turn your investment gets screwed as well, this game costs money so when these screw ups happen it affects the money you invested

So you're saying that you wouldn't go for it on 4th and Goal from the 1? In that exact situation you wouldn't say "f*ck it" 95% of the time? For not having an inside run called in that sitch. Stop being so gangsta.

I would prefer to go for it any time I am within 2-3 yards of the goal line whether I run it up the gut, off tackle, outside or pass. I would much rather take a stab at 7 points than settle for a FG when I am that close.

Score is 16-7 3rd Quarter 4th and inches from the goalline...go for it, attempt and score still down 2 points 16-14 or with 2pt try still down 16-15...attempt and fail still down 16-7 and opponent gets the ball and another wack at scoring...FG attempt likely make from the short distance 16-10 cuts into the lead instantly...given the situation any sound minded team would kick it but of course not every team follows the norm tho...that should be a team choice, not a sim choice to make

fwiw I would go for it there 100% if given the choice. I don't disagree that lots of coaches would kick there, but personally I think the traditional football thinking or whatever is way too conservative at times.

its about having a choice not being forced to do things i have no control of....never claimed to be a gangsta

its opinionated i understand. just as some may go for it....some would want to kick. i have faith enough in my team that we can go for a field goal and then ok guys we have a full quarter...we are still in the game. if yal cant see why im frustrated then thats not my problem.

I can understand kicking a FG there but I simply would not do it. While you say there is a full quarter to "catch up" I say go for the 7 while that close and still seize control of the game in the 4th. You have the whole 4th quarter to still try to make up whatever the difference is whether you get it or not. Now if this is in the 4th quarter with 5-7 minutes left while down by 10 in the same situation I might kick the FG to be sure that I still have a shot in the game. To say you lost solely because of not taking a FG attempt there is a bit much IMO. Yes, the point differential was two points at the end but depending on your opponents tactics there may be differences with how they play in the 4th (up by less than a TD or more than a TD for example). Additionally, we all know that a FG attempt from any distance here is far from a guarantee which further cements my choice in going for it there. It is a matter of opinion and perhaps the red zone tactics should have a conservative or aggressive option for within the 3 yard line.

GLB2's 4th down logic has been bad forever, but it'd be pretty irresponsible if most of us complained about it. That irrational b.s. has not only lost us games, but has also won us all some close games. It's apart of the game, it's like their accounting for someof the stupid shit you see in the nfl...

And jhiggs, as a one your team there is no point in gettting that defense working better. Even so, your still allowing way too much points compared to when we were coaching mates. Too much blood in your eyes, your gonna end up the new Jim Mora or Mike Ditka

i was never a defensive coach thats besides the point oh and try doing zone then we can count points together.
