You see guys run the wrong way and miss blocking assignments or run right past the ball carrier every once and awhile in the NFL, and it ends up on blooper reels. It happens almost every play in GLB2. Balance is another one, dudes fall down untouched constantly.

Contested rolls should be tough and that's where good player building will shine, but give us a break on the uncontested rolls.

This is actually far worse and much more important than anything anyone has written about kicking. I feel stupid letting myself rage about kicking, but not so much about this. This idea was the second biggest thing wrong with GLB1, after the necessity of slow building.

Make uncontested rolls easy and "good player building" will mean putting all points into contested rolls, and being able to ignore uncontested skills above a certain point.

If you're dropping uncontested passes, raise Receiving Hands, etc..

So the 1 K per team is 100% going to happen? I ask because if so I'll just retire mine.

I can count atleast 8 teams in the NFL that use a kicker for FGs and a different kicker for kick offs. I'm not sure GLB2 has such a hard about changing it. Why are we still talking about that shit.

Wide open drops are lol.

But that a waste of a build. You get shit back for retiring a player, if I have to retire one of my kickers because I was playing with in the rules, I better get all of my fucking flex back.

Missed field goals played a role in each of the three games we lost this season - not saying we'd be undefeated if we had 2 kickers, but having only 1 totally blows.

Completely agree with Xars here.

There are so many broken things we've been asking for for years, so many recurring bugs that ruin games at times for 10+ seasons. So many issues with broken plays, and the inability to diversify D-playbooks because of the distance tagging on the tactics matrix. Restricting teams to 1 kicker is so far down the list of priorities I'll be appalled if they don't also address at least half of some of the biggest issues simultaneously. GLB2 has been around too long to still have so many bugs. If another off-season passes and none of the main issues are addressed then it shows where warrior generals priorities lie.

How many seasons can they ignore the knocked loose-fumble bug?
How many seasons are screens going to be broken?
How many seasons are TD/out-of-bounds glitches going to be in the game?
How many seasons will deep passes be broken?
How many seasons will distance tagging limit defensive diversity?
How many seasons will lead blockers absolutely fail to pick up LB's right before them in exchange for the deep CB?
How many seasons will short/medium tags be meaningless against outside runs?
How many season will end of game logic (seriously, punting under 2 minutes) still be worse than what a third grader could whip up in a GLB1 AI?
How many seasons will we have SA's that have thus far never fired in 16 seasons?
How many seasons will defenders in containment stand and watch ball carriers run right by them?
How many seasons will interceptions that then get knocked loose advance the offense in yardage?
How many seasons will Dime C1 TE smother not work as its supposed to? (And numerous other defensive plays)

And thats by no means an exhaustive list. I can't possibly abide by them prioritizing kicker roster limits over actual broken gameplay mechanics. they really should even be touching the kicker thing until this entire list is addressed. Its a sad indictment of where the administrations priorities lie. It's why I quit building GLB1 dots, and its why S17 is the last season I make new dots for GLB2. I'm no longer interested in even finishing all of my retirement flex from GLB1. If I wasn't running a team and didn't feel obligations to players built for that team I'd be more inclined to rage quit. WarriorGeneral has been a constant disappointment every step of the way. I miss Catch22... but it would be like Warrior General to fire their one productive employee who cared about actually improving the game experience. Cdog, and DD, seem to take great pleasure in failing to properly serve the needs of the userbase. Catch22 always seemed to care about us and our experience. That's why it's been quite a while since I've ever felt inclined to give ya'll money, especially considering I've spent upwards of $900 on this company. I don't think there's anything that could convince me to actually spend money and build more dots if their priorities are to continually shy away from fixing the perpetually broken mechanics in this game.

I could give 2 shits if next season is 1 or two kickers. Doubt you could find one in twenty people who have any emotions about it whatsoever. If this concept was running for president you could save money and fire the entire Secret Service because nobody would give enough of a shit to assasinate this idea. It's that much of a non-issue.

Epic.

Just because you "can" do something, doesn't mean you "should". It's that simple.
