In S17, we'll have the team forum to use, but until then I'm going to post what I've put up on the Team Forum. I'm expecting your arrival.

Game plan and Roles:

For Rookie Offense, we'll use the Playbook from the S15 LogZilla Boys. We'll be balanced and start off mostly with Outside Running and Passing. We'll add Inside Running later in the season.

On Defense, we'll play a lot of Man Base and then throw in blitzes.

Roles:

Your player will be built to perform a role. On Offense, we can control how often your player is on the field and involved. On Defense, we can only react to the opposing team. If you build a Pass Rushing Speed LB and we face a pure rushing team, you'll be sitting on the bench for that game. Sorry, but I can't help that.

However, with the game moving more towards Balanced Offense, there shouldn't be any trouble getting all type of Defenders on the field almost every game. I don't track Play Counts and you shouldn't either. What you should be watching is to see how well your players performs his role (and that you're on the field when your role is needed).

General build advice to start:

When first building your player, you want to spend the initial SP on:

ONE Skill (mostly-almost exclusively)
Conditioning

Rookie players are notoriously under-invested in Conditioning. Too many agents try to round out their players skills too early in their development. We want to avoid that.

Superstars on D can invest in TWO skills to suit their combo role. Superstars on O will stay focused on ONE.

Run Defenders:
DLineman - Break Run Block and Conditioning
LBs - Power Tackling and Conditioning
CBs - Break Run Block and Conditioning
FS&SS - Tackling Tech/Grip and Conditioning

Pass Defenders:
DLine - Pass Rush Tech and Conditioning
Blitz LB - Sprinting and Conditioning
Cover LBs - Deflection and Conditioning
CBs - Man Awareness/Deflection and Conditioning

Offense:
OLine&FB - Run Block Tech and Conditioning
WR&TEs - Rec Hands and Conditioning
HB - Sprinting and Conditioning
QB - Pass Tech/Pass Consistency and Conditioning

For the first game, you should have at least 20 Conditioning.
After every game, add 1pt to Conditioning and the rest to your primary skill.
At the First Star Bonus, put half of the SP into Conditioning and half into Primary skill. Your Conditioning should be in the 30s, if not high 30s by this time.

Around half-way through the season, you'll probably hit your Conditioning cap and have one skill at 50.

I'd much prefer building a S* HB than a S* LB. It's really difficult to join a team as a regular HB, so I'd like to reserve my 150 tier S* for an HB. I can build another position if you prefer. Don't really want O-line though.

Will take it into consideration. I think the other agent had a preference for HB but not as strong as yours. But we have time since this is for S17. I'll stay active on it as I hope you and everyone else does.

Check with Agent: Highli3ht Film for CBs. He's great with making man coverage DBs

But i was going to make a regular HB but if someone is making a S*HB i would like to make either a Back HB and/or QB

I'll try to have the glamour positions go to newer players, but can't guarantee it until we finalize the roster. There are a lot of newer agents interested and only so many marquee positions.

My guess is some people may lose interest so please add yourself to the list if interested. People drop out or want to make different dots, etc.

Yup. Just busy the last few days.

Some people have PM'd me about what players they'd like to build. Either PM or reply here as to what Tier/Player you'd like to build.

Initially, don't worry about over lap (if someone else mentions that position too).

I'll tally the PM's up this weekend and starting next week we'll outline builds and the preliminary roster.

I dont care about position.

Its a free player, so just give me something left over at the end.
