Chemistry and the all run cheese are the things I dislike the most about this game. Give all run teams an extra down and I would probably rage quit and never look back.

There are a lot of things we can't do that we wish we could, but almost all of them would be really bad if actually implemented.

Being okay with changing the most basic rules of football because parts of this game is broken is a defeatist attitude, it's sad we're at that point.

Something needs to happen with Chem. I had to sign players up with new teams this season, good teams as it goes. As a consequence of their chem being poor, the OC/DCs simply keeps my guys on STs or as Infrequent subs. Waste of a season. I do the same with new guys joining a team, unless they're a S*. I understand the original thinking behind the chem dynamic, but it feels like a punishment for continuing to play. Or something like that.

Please, please, please, please, please can we have more plays tagged as Medium Man Pass/Run Blitz. The choices are so limited at the moment, and the available plays are kinda 'meh'.

The big ruin of the game for me is 3rd downs. I see it on both sides of the ball. My team defends superbly for 2 downs, playcalling is spot on, set up 3rd and long. Playcall is good, offense completes the pass, often into double coverage. This is how most scoring drives that I have play out, I struggle for 2 downs and then make stunning completions on 3rd down all the way down the field. Something's not right. Statistically, this is probably not borne out, but if anyone wants to run some 3rd down completion stats, I'd be curious to know. What I do know is, that I've not bothered to gameplan because it makes no bloody difference what the call is. It comes down to individual rolls and the O must have some kind of silent 3rd down micro buff (he said, conspiratorially)? It's sickening, even when it helps me win.

I don't have as much experience as you guys, but as a relative newcomer? ZEB detracts from the game so much. Then as a OC your forced to run plays that work against it, mostly focusing on the TE. It makes for a boring game.

I like the idea of fixing the 3rd down logic. 3rd and 8 and longer being completed on a regular basis it happens in the real world but not at that high of a frequency.

Probably be too hard to change, but how about only allowing a limited number of the same play per defensive series? Take your chances on ZEB but then limited if in fact the offense can create and sustain a drive?

Here's my 3.

1. 4-2-5 defensive scheme please.
2. Make it so receivers fall down less, and are able to utilize YAC more (mostly with short/quick passing).
(consequently make CiT rolls a little tougher to compensate)
3. More plays, more plays, more plays. Or even just mirror the plays we already have.

How much balance do your receivers have?

But anyway...the cry would be huge if receivers start to fumble 5-10 times and that would happen as the usual receiver doesnt have more than 30 carry grip. just sayin

its funny how you hate about all-run teams for like 6 seasons now and yet you never say a a word against pure pass teams. Weird attitude, but whatever

Might have something to do with his record against those kinds of teams.

I'm actually surprised chem is not significantly affected by PT. If your solution to chem is to bench people until their chem comes up, perhaps chem shouldn't approach anywhere near 100 by the last game of the season. It just seems like, if you want to be "realistic" about it, relegating a player to the bench wouldn't do much to make him feel like part of the team. Maybe Easy Going might actually do something if it countered this dynamic.

Conversely, if you give low chem players a ton of PT, perhaps it should increase even faster. Give coaches the option to sacrifice a few games early season to compete better for the bulk of it.

1. Give 150 flex points worth of free players instead of just one free player ... Hopefully this would encourage people to build more rookies at other positions besides a ton of rookie QBs and HBs in free agency that cannot find a team or are stuck on CPU, or an inactive team. and then quit the game.

2. rebalance the SAs so that all of them are useful and causes a variety in builds and schemes. This was started but not sure what happened???

3. Fix the Chase Down SA!!!

there are ways to beat the zeb at an efficient rate your wrs need to down the field quicker than the lbs running towards you

He acknowledged that. The problem is that there are only a few plays that can beat it. That's what makes it "boring". It also leads to play spam on the offensive side of the ball.

Makes me wonder about a new challenge.

All human players (could be cpu component too) - everyone participating uses the same O and same D (non spam) every game -- some kind of somewhat diverse-ish playbook (accomplished by all teams sharing a single GM who's playbook is used).

Who can make the best players to get the most out of a static O and D

#1 It's already in, I think you mean a 3 safety nickel defense, which is pretty common in college and NFL.

#2 I don't like making CiT rolls tougher, I think I'd rather make receiving grip rolls a bit harder. There are a lot of catches in the NFL that quickly get knocked out of their hands as they're trying to bring it in to their body. Defenders commonly do the karate chop thing down on a receivers arms to make them bobble and drop it.

#3 Amen. Preach it!
