The screen is one of the easiest plays in the game to stop. It's your fault you only run 5-2. You take losing about as well as Tdiddy.

Easy to stop with a cb blitz yes, but you shouldnt have to blitz the cb to have the cb not be stupid, if they used the same logic for screens that they used for outside runs there wouldnt be an issue. Its a logical point sorry you cant grasp it.

At 10 AM, we have Game of Zones vs Walt Disney.

Game of Zones is arguably the most successful Zone team to date, with the team currently sitting at #1 in the tier without a single superstar. On the other hand, we have Walt Disney, a team that can oscillate between a balanced offense (leaning pass) and a pure QB rushing offense. It'll be interesting to see which offense venti settles on today.

In the Hannibal League in sophomore, we have Bloody Slaughterhouse vs ENMU Greyhounds. Bloody looks to be the heavy favourites in this one, after narrowly escaping Hell's Kitchen Devils in the first round of the playoffs. However, Bloody just came off of a beating from PORN, another pure passing team. We'll see how the battle between two pure passing offenses turns out, and whether ENMU can lift some of the blueprint that PORN used to beat Bloody.

There are a ton of plays that shut down screens that don't blitz the CB and don't involve 5-2. Sorry you can't grasp that.

Yeah, RNG happens. We ran Weak I Sweep Weak 4 of our 10 outside rushing plays yet it only had a frequency of 1.

Well, GG. You guys shut down the screen game last time we played. But I guess you decided to abandon the zone D?

I honestly thought you'd go away from the screens. I zigged, you zagged. It happens.

I'm more surprised by what your defense did than what your offense did.

We both know there is no play that stops screens that doesnt leave you vunerable to regular passes or the run, unfortunately your bullshit doesnt work on someone who actually has been a dc.

There's no play in the game that is good against everything - I think that is expected. If there was, everyone would just be running that play.

Interesting, I'd assume they'd abandon the QB rushes against a Zone D. But who knows, anyone got a watch link for this?

What i mean is there is no safe play vs screens. Any play that stops a screen effectively is super exploitable by something else.

This is true, and more importantly any moron can watch the CB play versus a screen and see its fubar. No football player would react that strongly on a pplay fake.

But, i will admit this. I should've planned more variety on defense. If even half of those screens are broken up by a zone blitz, its a different game. Granted, that mean at least some of the regular passes would kill the zone, but variety would've kept it interesting.

Still, the FSM defense? Hats off to you.
