Entering Richmond game, LogZilla was 20-5 and ranked #7. Beat the #1 team (now 21-5) and still behind 20-6 Winnipeg Wrath #6 Ladder.

ELO is certainly interesting. Would have thought we would have gained a spot.

You could be one of the 4-loss teams, with H2H victories over the other 2 4-loss teams, and ranked behind them

Madison, Richmond and Ground Assault are all 4 loss teams.

GA has beat them both head to head (handily, though I know that is irrelevant).

GA is behind them both in ELO . . .

For ELO purposes, losing to good teams is much better than losing to bad teams. You forfeit way less ELO.

Problem is, we've lost to Wrath the past two times we've played. And then who the hell knows what happens in a GA vs FSM rematch.

which kinda makes it feel like DA is going to cruise to #1 probably. Those 3 point wins over GA, Logzilla, and Wrath ended up pretty huge in the grand scheme of things.

Rob. getting his #1 Ladder Trophy would certainly be deserved

Likeable owner/coach. Very good gameplanner.

Rob's other team, PORN, might get the #1 as well. Although there's no cruising to the finish line for them yet. I'm sure two #1 trophies for both teams that someone owns has never been done before.

Looks like ELO was super close as my League win pushed LZ back to #6. Wrath won their League game as well.

It does look very close around the top. Madison just moved back into 3 as well because of a win over a better league opponent.

Edit: Nevermind, looks like Richmond is back in 3. I guess they hadn't gotten their ELO for today when I looked earlier, even though their record had been updated.

Not necessarily. They still have 3 ladder games left and they haven't played:

4 Madison
9 MMArmy
13 LIK

Seems almost certain they will draw those 3 to end the season. They also likely have 11 Whoville in the league final. If Madison beats them, it will probably be enough to push Madison to number 1. If they lose to any of those other teams, which is not totally outside the realm of possibility, they will probably be out of the running completely this close to end of season and FSM will be sitting in pole position (although they have a tough league playoffs to get through too, but nothing difficult left on the ladder).

Whoville's all over the place, seems a bit random which Whoville you get. The team that beat up Logzilla...or the team that got beat up by LIK? Speaking of LIK, I seriously doubt DA loses to LIK.

FSM also has to play MMArmy, I wonder if it's possible for MMArmy to simply not draw DA?

Who knows. Not sure how the scheduling algorithm works.

I really think DA could lose to Madison and stay #1.

Doubtful.

RR was pretty much tied with DA - lost to LogZilla and fell behind FSM.

Madison has a slightly higher ELO than LogZilla - but not significantly more - a loss coupled with an FSM win would probably push FSM over the top.

EDIT: That also excludes the fact that Madison has a tougher end of year schedule because their league schedule is tougher - so if they win out they'll naturally make up some ground, and with a win over DA I think Madison would probably end up at #1.

The fact that #1 is still up in the air this late in the season is pretty awesome.

The top 4 are pretty close. DA has one fewer loss than anyone but has a very slim lead due to our weak league. The playoffs aren't going to help us much either. I am thinking we probably need to go undefeated the rest of the season or someone will probably overtake us. It's even possible that we can go undefeated and still lose #1 if a team like FSM wins their league and gets some higher ladder draws.
