if he only has like 30 power how do you expect him to make a 40 yard field goal. doesnt matter that he is 100 accurate. that is only on that under 30 power range.. so therfore the low power which is common makes it hard to kick farther away too.

HAHA's current kicker has started increasing power, but in rookie and sophomore he had zero extra power. So 8 or whatever the bare minimum is.

In rookie, he was 2-8 from 40-49
In soph, he was 9-17 from 40-49

However, all of the makes were in the 40-45 yard range, with most of the makes between 40-43. How much of a boost would 20+ power give to FG distance? Would 30 total power allow someone to kick in the 40-49 range without worry?

That I'm not sure on. But it is like a qb that can throw perfect 30 yards or under. Once he tried farther than that he just starts having problems hitting the mark because he is trying to throw it or kick it as hard as he can.

Tdiddy, it's be interesting to know if his 40-49 kicks are longer on average than in the past. Is he missing 48 yarders or 43 yarders?

im well aware of that... his power is just fine... after going 21 of 26 last season from 40-49 as the best K in GLB2, he is 8/16 this season from the same range. Without any respec he has somehow got worse the last 2, 2 1/2 seasons. 84% S10, 73% S11, now 54% this season without any alterations to FG tactic range.

Could very well be luck and randomness. Who's to say the previous seasons results are a good basis of expectation for future results?

can someone actually explain when max FG sets in? I was under it at the end of the first half, but we decided to let time run out

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/200199/1517360 - we had a time out left after this play

Here's my boy with a Monster Hit+fumble on a Vet power HB returner. I could've spent those skill points on Kick Cons or Acc and maybe he'd have a few more TBs. But it's way more fun this way.

58/70 on the season...

While that may not be as impressive compared to those above, you must consider that 8 of those 12 misses came from 50+. He went 13/21 on the season from 50+.

That might be one of the best overall seasons from a kicker in GLB.
