I have been very nervous about this team lately. Things can fall apart very quickly with our offense. This was truly a tale of two halves. In the first half we converted 8 of 10 third downs and only dropped 2 of 35 passes(6% drop rate). In the 2nd half we converted 1 of 9 third downs and dropped 7 of 27 passes(26% drop rate). This is part of the fun of rookie though I guess. Anything can happen! Not sure that I would have changed a ton in regards to the gameplan. Game ball goes to Watrick Pillis.

No upset for Legacy. Arizona wins 28-14. Just a few plays where our defenders couldn't even sniff breaking a block...and poof - long TD.

That was my experience with them. Contained them for awhile and then in the 2nd half my players wore down and they weren't getting to the sideline as well as they used to.

Conditioning seems to matter more than I thought it would, even in Rookie where everyone has crap conditioning/heart/etc

Legacy's D in the 1st half: 31 rushes, 4.1 ypc, 9 TFL (29% of the time)
2nd half D: 35 rushes, 8.9 ypc, 8 TFL (22.8%)

Even more stark was the 4th quarter TFL plummeting to 15%. Less than half the rate for the previous 3 quarters.

Well, Jack "Steven" Black, I'd first like to point out, great Fucking game to the "Atlanta i pass every down" Falcons. I considered spaming the ZEB but thought better of it in hopes my dbs could make some plays. We learned early that even while my my dbs were humping the shit out of the receivers early they caught every pass like their hands were stickier than a homeless man that just got done fingering a hooker with a yeast infection (this ends here never to speak of again). Then around the 3rd qtr i had a great fucking idea. I called Robbie on my cellular device while he is on his honeymoon and said "what do you think about me telling the boys not to cover these prostitute fingering lowlifes". He thought it was FOOL PROOF so we went with it, turns out they and went in at halftime and jollied their robbies and came out with greasy fingers instead of sticky ones. So was it a genius move putting on porn in their lockerroom instead of them watching film? Sure, maybe, but the credit goes to the ladies that used their bodies to my advantage.

On Offense? Well Shit Steven "Black" Jack, this was a real humdinger what the fuck happened type of situation. As i mentioned one of our other coaches that runs our offense is on his honeymoon, so i gave him a good old pager call (yes we dont use that fancy texting gizmo thingy) he gave me a ring and said hey Vipe why dont you call the offense take a look at our builds and build arond them!" I'm thinking sure why not he was building this team for the pass from the get go piece of cake lets sling some shit like a couple of chimps. Well i look at them O-line builds and just say shit he has some different interesting builds that i did not see coming. I very well couldnt sling that shit around as well as i probably couldnt pound the rock like a mallard duck without a fucking fb or a good line. So i figured what the hell lets spread them out and run some one on one shit with Boobie "fucking " Miles. Turns out our line cant block for the run or pass and that showed today. It would also appear that by the 3rd qtr all those pre game chili dogs really caught up to our hog mollies. Black "Jack" Steven i hope that answers your question.

Well for starters, I LOL'd at the "don't call us Arizona" part. But the second thing that really pops out at me is how often you guys pick ASU to get upset. I'm pretty sure if I surfed all the rookie ladder talk we are pretty regularly getting called to get upset. It hasn't happened since Gliwice on April 11th, and it won't be happening again anytime soon my friends.

The top 5 pancake leaders in the Patton league consists of ASU's entire offensive line. So I hope our next ladder opponent brings some syrup.
