Promoting stat padding/whoring teams sounds GREAT

yes and if our D gave up that kinda points with rob focusing purely on stopping that qb the rest of vet better be on notice. seems like this may be the season of the run team domination now that non air raid passing offenses seem to struggle vs solid defenses and the run blocking changes didnt seem to hinder any of the run teams much at all

hehe, the crying begins

Checked Robs tactics and the plays run...why would you think that stops them well? Anyway, mad passing, lol.

The blocking hasn't ever been the issue that tackling is. Rushing teams are filthy because you often have one guy to make the play, and if they fail, it's a touchdown. There's no defensive equivalent of power through or juke/spin for tackling technique. You either have really high tackling skills, or you get slaughtered.

C1 Wide Dogs is a very bad play for boht outside QB runs and even worse for stopping up the gut runs.

Are you willing to leave C1 Wide Dogs in for today's game?

(in all seriousness though: props to Rob always being a good sport whether he's on the winning or losing end of a game)

crying? pointing out a prediction on how this season evolves after the changes that were implemented is not "crying" its just talking shop. nerds who arent even on a top 10 ladder team like peeti should disregard this thread and go play in the kiddy section.

but yeah anyway robs thoughts were focusing on stopping the qb, we did overlook them a bit but weve had success in the past stopping rQBs with c1 wide dogs on the rollouts. different playcalling wouldnt have made much a difference IMO as we ate something like 25 broken tackles and 50 pancakes that game. either way gg to them, my post was more to state with teams like virgins beating us worse than the stunners ever had the rest of the top 10 better not overlook them, def a tough team.

My plan is to try and outscore them. Hopefully time it just right, so they get stuck with the ball as the time expires in the second quarter and 4th quarter to kill two drives by default.

This is a good plan I think.

Held you to your worst yardage output since season 7 and still lost

GG MMA. I'm more shocked that we were able to hold Bramble to 0 catches.
