This game had more to do with how fucking OP shed block is than zone defense. I started off the game good on defense, sacking you a few times on your first couple of drives. If an offense cannot get anything going in this game against a good team, you are screwed.

Your defenders were shedding blocks left and right. Nobody does that to my offense. I am sick of people bitching how bad run defense is.

Yes, I still love zone and I will not stop. This game is all about momentum and if my offense would have done anything decent, it would have been a much closer game.

lol...dont say shed block is OP. Thats stupid. Its a valid Defense SA to counter the counteless GREAT SAs run teams have. If your O-Line is not built properly, then yes. You will have a problem. Stop that shit saying that it is OP. You are making a fool outta yourself.

Run defense bad? Not in general. But check that "run reaction" thread where you can see some big farts in run defense. In general its not worse than pass Defesne tho. The problem stays: Offense in general is too strong

Shed block isn't OP. It's the only good SA DTs and DEs have to counter all the run blocking SAs that OL have.

So scrim Default Name then. The issue with you vs Logzilla is that their defense is literally built to do just one thing, stop rushing teams. So if you want to see if your team can hang with a pure passing team, take on Default Name who has more all around built defenders.

Shed was so bad they had to buff it, its now in a good place.

Like I said, I do admire your perseverance. So I'll give you my insight. The truth is your Offense is predictable. You got scouted.

You ran 28 Outside Rushes in the game. 27 to the right side. 14 of them I ran 3-4 2 Cat Blitz Strong and blitzed my CB2.

You pass too much on 3rd and Long. On third and 5+, you were 83% passing. It's not hard for a DC to optimize play calling, depth charts, etc. That's why you had a 20% completion rate on those plays.

My run blockers are also power blockers and not tech blockers, which is a problem. Power blockers suck because they are worthless unless you win the initial block with tech. Another change I will make when I reset.

Ground Assault has fallen out of the top spot in the ladder . . . we have 7 losses on the year, 6 of them coming against veteran teams, and 1 against the 3rd ranked Journeyman . . . ugh.

We were #2 until Kiwi lost this morning. And we play another Pro team today, so I expect Kiwi to regain that spot.
