Yup, but D'Haran ought to be doing what Minnesota is doing. You killed that golden goose!

Season 3 teams have been wholly disappointing in general. Other than Minnesota, MMArmy will start their veteran campaign likely in the 30's of the rankings. They'll have a chance to threaten the top 15 maybe. Nobody else is going to sniff the top 20 from Season 3 next season unless there's just a massive culling of existing veteran teams. That is possible though, since many top-flight Season 1 teams have been significantly displaced by Season 2 teams at the top of the ladder. Probably a strong incentive for many to start fresh with build lessons learned this offseason.

Did D'Haran (in its older form) invest in blocking on the HB's?

Drinkin is next in line, but too far back in the grand scheme

Are you saying against his Zone D or in general. I've had lots of success with trips strong on WcW.

Against his. If you have a CB on the strong side to protect there, then by definition the weak side has more blockers than defenders.

Other pure running teams have done that, however.

Yep, Bronson has more than Xavier but they both will end with moderate run blocking investment...
