I don't know hawaii's defensive builds so I can't determine what that replay represents at all. Are you guys trash talk heavy? Though even if you were you didn't blitz much at all in the game.

Point being that heavy blitz + trash talk with leaderships ability to the qb taken away is an obvious blow to pass heavy teams.

I mean showing me a replay of a game where a qb had a pretty good game and telling me hey he doesn't have a morale issue is well kinda weird.

i can't comment on builds, trade secret. But blitzing a lot against top pass teams doesn't really work that well, if it did harrison would be much higher ranked

Trash talk only works for players blitzing the qb. It's not a question of whether or not blitzing is a good option. When debating morale you give me an example of a qb playing well and hardly hurried the entire game as morale doesn't seem to be an issue. I just don't know what to say about that other than wat?

Also I have to ask while on the subject cdog, does this change impact botched snaps in any way?

Hmm but isn't leadership the main component of keeping the qb from botching the snap? Wouldn't taking that ability from the qb increase botched snaps 10 fold?

possible to share how dramatic of a change this is?

Remember we we all lost our minds - only to find you'd changed the baseline of power blocking by only 5?

Is this like a 5% change? 10? 25?

How is this going to affect Rushing teams like Steve's who don't rush their QB? The QB will stay at mostly full morale/energy if he is only doing handoffs. Seems like more of a nerf to passing teams and QB rushing teams

You completely do not understand the "leadership" stat.

This will affect teams like the Stunners the most - their QB currently has one use, keep morale up for the whole O. Now, the offense will need to create their own morale.

I dont think you are understanding the change. QB leadership still affects everyone else on offense, it doesn't affect the QBs morale anymore. If the QB is at full engery/morale there will be no change to how leadership affects offensive morale. And the only way a QB on an all HB Running team will lose energy/morale is from showboats on TFLs.

since the QB's actually look for someone to block after handing it off...so the QBs actually are in a lot of blocking interactions (which is weird all on its own).

All of that being said - I'm not sure how it will affect my squad. As I mentioned earlier in this thread - I have a passing QB on Dookie Island with capped Leadership as well -- so I certainly don't believe it was a run only skill. I guess we'll see what happens!
