Just looking at I B Punter from Cheetah for instance. If you subtract the yardage from his 73 touchbacks, he's punting for right at 49 Yards. The best NFL teams are Net punting for 45 yards, which includes returns. We don't get return yardage on punters as a stat unfortunately, but taking some league averages:

Cheetah had 301 punt returns for 3922 yards this year, a 13.02 average return. Let's say 13 yards per return. There were 974 punts in cheetah this season, so 13 yards per return turns into right at 4 return yards per punt. We'll just assume this evenly applies to I B Punter.

Which means, I B Punter is probably at ~45 net punt yards, which is right in line with the St. Louis Rams, who led the NFL last season.

Here are some numbers from my punter in Seasoned who right now is sitting at 64 power.

Last 10 games

3 - 49
2 - 59
5 - 54
5 - 52.6
8 - 43.5
6 - 43.3
5 - 51.6
2 - 53.8
4 - 53.3
3 - 48.7

43 punts for 49.55 average. That seems rather powerful for a 64 total power mid level punter if you ask me.

Thats not too over powered. That is the total average, not the net average.

That adds up to an average of 32.8 net yards per punt. No team in the NFL had a lower net average in 2013... btw, the difference between net average and total average in the NFL is obviously way lower than in GLB.

Thanks Stobie - that's the point I'm trying to make -- punters hit their "plateau" too soon.

That equals 29 punts for a 52.2 average with 67 power.

there are 12 touchbacks in those 29 -- which can also mean - my average could have been higher. Looking more closely - the touchbacks happened from:

40
57
58
63
45
57
61
41
52
47
44

So average would be much higher as the touchbacks (based on the way we calculate it here) are dragging his average down since punting from the 40 only allows a maximum of a 40 yard punt

What I'm talking about here is that punt power is too powerful.

When we get into nets - of course accuracy becomes a huge huge factor (I hope)

I think it would be realistically that punters never truly ever use 100% power, as they are more about accuracy as you don't want to outkick your coverage. At times you want to boot the crap out of it, but I think the bigger issue is accuracy is HORRIBLE for punters. I can see touchbacks happen but there are rare if any attempts I have seen for coffin corners.

But coffin corners in the NFL have the risk of being punt blocked. Since blocking doesn't happen here, having perfect accuracy and power would essentially mean no returns.

I think there needs to be a bit more inter-tier play, way too much playing up in the top ten.

Biggest bug of them all to fix: the new post bug when a thread is unstickied/title edited/moved.

This one bug is litcherly, ruining my experience, with reading.

Completely slipped my mind but this so much this. Having the new post icon up everytime something gets unstickied is so frustrating
