It's not the only problem.

Quite simply, a "rattled" QB should be throwing the ball SOONER. It's apparent this dynamic isn't working in any of the sets because I have rattled QBs getting sacked at the 60 tick mark after sliding out of the pocket to avoid pressure. It's just clearer in 5WR sets that QB read/throw timing is way too slow, particularly when rattled.

Rattling a QB shouldn't just lead to held in blockers. It should ALSO decrease read/throw times resulting in more incompletions. I could live with incompletions. But there's no way to justify to me that a rattled QB holds the ball for 60 ticks on TE Post when an unrattled QB throws a pass by tick 36.

You should find video of David Carr playing for Houston. By the end of his rookie season, he might just have been the most rattled QB in human history, and he definitely ended up holding the ball longer and longer as the season went on.

(It's also a pretty good testament to how freakin' tough he is given the beating he took without ending up dead)

Morale already snowballs badly enough in this game, what you're asking for is a second snowball on top of the already un-fun snowballing morale mechanics in GLB2 which is tough to get behind.

David Carr is the only known masochist to ever play in the NFL.

Probably also the only case of PTSD from playing in the NFL.

saying the qb holds the ball though being rattled is generally after they are throwing picks not incompletions. a qb knowing he is getting blitzed gets rid of the ball. from a defense stand point its annoying you expect them to throw it sooner and they aren't they are holding it to long.

Blitzing is alive and well in rookie ball still, at least.

Because 90+ points without throwing once is totally realistic.

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/64349 blitzing definitely ded. Though when you have 31 sacks from your front 4 who needs to blitz.

blitzing isn't dead... just some blitzing plays don't work anymore (ex - MO to stop the pass for more seasoned teams)...

there are a few that seem to work better than last season

my blitzing sack-happy OLB Duo still #1 and #2 in HoF (3rd consecutive season). Both will finish with 90ish sacks
