Ya its not confusion. It is just a hugely broken element that hits guys covering WR3 and WR4 the worst. You can see small glimpses of it against WR2 or 1 but builds and coverage can easily overcome them.

For example, check out the spazzing by both CB's on this play:

Only 2 WR's, so no chance of confusion.
CB1 does the twist (but not well enough to win the World Famous Jack Rabbit Slim's Twist Contest), and CB2 just stops cuz reasons or something.
I really think CB2 probably got faked for that freeze. It happens during the cut in the route.

His coverage tech is lagging because of this, but it's pretty obvious with where things are that Footwork is way moar betterer than Cov Tech as things stand right now.
Xav has seen the light. Cov Tech most certainly overrated compared to the physical skills.

This makes me chuckle every time you post this and then in another thread tell us that we need 3 stars in Chase Down.

Is it my imagination or are Xav and Galithor slowly morphing into the same person?

I have 3 stars in Chase Down. The bots will often run really quickly to a spot nowhere near the WR.
It is my biggest regret on building my team. If I had taken 3 star On an Island, 3rd Down Stopper, or Closing speed instead, my team would still be in the top 10 on the ladder.

3* OaI is useless; it fires but very very rarely is it active during a deflection roll. All my questions about it have been ignored and don't feel like going through the same routine as last season to prove it.

Uh. No.
Coverage tech is not overrated. In a perfect game, I wouldn't be pushing Footwork as hard as I am because swiveling back to front while running is something a five year old can do.
Instead, I'd be pushing Coverage Tech which really does a good job of keeping you with the WR as long as you don't get stuck in that stupid broken turn.

Coverage tech doesn't make your player any faster/quicker Xav. If you don't have the quickness/sprinting/footwork to execute that coverage tech, it's not terribly useful.

Uh. That's why I'm pushing footwork. Because I'm playing GLB2, not reality.

I'm pretty sure knowing how to cover a guy without the skills to actually do it would create a crappy player too. Good coach though.

This is exactly what I've thought with my CB but I just assumed it couldn't be that broken after they went through the effort of adjusting it because it was legit broken.
It always seems like it fires after the pass has already been caught (even on interceptions).
also my 70 int / 50 vertical CB sucked all season. 3 ints in 205 targets (lol) is not worth > 50% recalw.

Well it can fire before; but it toggles off while the ball is actually in deflection range....
