Hey. The coverage changes really did look good until the OC's figured out that deep passes broke DB AI....

I think he feels that the admins favor trying to make the offense better when changes are made. TBH I like how this game doesn't automatically go into those 100+ point games all the time.

Sophomore Cheese Report (stats are for all 5 games total)
Looking for QBs who lead the rushing stats - can we sniff out the cheese?

Adams:
#1 Peter Venkman - LaPaz Challengers - 85 Rushes for 1240 yards with 18 TDs
Full Disclosure: my QB: T Mac is 10th on the rushing list with 30 carries for 327 yards and 8 TDs

Cleveland:
#3 Rodney Allison - Washington Thrashers - 29 rushes for 570 yards

Eisenhower:
#1: Quincy Carter - Yorck - 71 for 1565 and 26 Tds
#10 Tim Jortmann - Yorck - 42 rushes for 306.5 yards and 6 TDs

Jackson:
#1 Tom Sherrill - Denver Demolition - 40 rushes for 620 yards and 10 TDs

Jefferson: No QB's in the top 10 of rushing! Good for you Jefferson!

Madison:
#1 Grounden Pound - D'Haran - 83 rushes for 469 yards and 5 Tds

Monroe:
#1 Vince Dung - Nigerian Minimares - 27 rushes for 764 yards and 11 TDs

Wilson: No QB's in the top 10 of rushing! Good for you Wilson!

Edit: I screwed up one of the QBs #s using last season instead of this season = sorry!

...we have been known to modify things...

well that's an interesting tease.

Any kind of an ETA for when it might be possible that you could exercise your right to modify or not modify something?

I'm working on it. Since adding the HB element to my offense, and admittedly some stat padding with a CPU team in our opener, I've gotten Yorick up to 75 points per game average.

But discounting that CPU opener, Yorick's offense has gone 31pts, 42pts, 72pts, and 103pts consecutively. In other words, each game our HB's get a little bit better, and we score a couple TD's extra.

Why do you think I care not at all that the rest of GLB2 knows exactly what I'm doing

That said, I'm way more than a little bit worried about the Lincoln City game. They have a great passing offense which is definitely the Achille's heel of my defense...

I'm fairly certain he was being facetious.

I'd be willing to bet your first born on it.

Until we see something that actually changes and doesn't break something else I'll continue to have 0 faith in GLB2. People complained about pass coverage last year, you guys "fix" it and it's pretty much worse than ever. The defense gets the shaft with pretty much every change that is made.

I'm sure daggers just meant in general the game is changing. This is beta. While I get that the offense looks like it's getting better and better, coverage looks much better than it did on the test server. And this far there haven't been any changes directly to improve offense that I know of outside of lead blocking.

I do have an overall suggestion for tactics and play designations that I think would be a bit more helpful for DC's.

Seasoned Week 3 Cheese Report:

Eris:
#1 Coronal Mass Ejection - Tampa Bay Thunder - 82 for 878 yards - 14 TDs

Europa:
#1 Russell Wilson - Seattle Seahawks - 90 for 1369 for 20 TDs
#2 Dan Marino - Seattle Seahawks - 60 for 694 for 7 TDs

Jupiter: None in the top 20+

Mars:
#4 Ryder Gently (good name!) - Savannah Stingers - 38 for 804 and 8 TDs

Titania:
#1 Rodney Landers - Elix Burghers - 52 rushes for 756 yards and 10 TDs (Rodney - your build is open)

Venus:
#1 Bob Griese - Miami 72 Dolphins - 44 for 681 and 10 TDs

So apparently still successful at seasoned level -- I actually didn't expect to find any QBs as rushing leaders.

Cheetah - none
Eagle - none
Gorilla - Cam Joe - 40 / 604 / 7 - American Hustlers
Komodo - none
Osprey - none

Why the drop off in Journeyman? Play stops working? Defenses too good? Too much self respect? What do you think?
