I can see you want off the hook for looking really childish and emo in this thread, and it's not appropriate for new players to be reading your crying, and me humoring you because it's fun. So mods can wrap this thread up if they want.

I'll probably be keeping the trophy avatar for a bit though. It's growing on me.

You have to earn respect to be given respect. You've done nothing to earn respect and have only shown yourself to be unreliable, untrustworthy, and a poor coach in this game. Me pointing that out doesn't make me childish. I got involved in this conversation when you came in to give advice to a new person and you gave them terrible advice. I pointed out the flaws in your advice in order to help them understand that they shouldn't be listening to you. Don't be so butt hurt that I'm correct.

And feel free to keep the avatar. It makes me and everyone else laugh because we all know that I own you.

Given how terrible your teams are, I'd suggest that you try to recruit agents like me to your team rather than push them away. But since you think for some reason that mez is a good GM to have for your team, you very clearly aren't very good at this game either.

If anything owners should distance themselves from you, you let a tiny spat with one person turn into insulting a ton of agents, owners, and coaches. Ill definitely be letting our network know that your not an agent to work with.

The trademark of defeat, you have no insult to throw at a guy who is apart of multiple top 10 and top 20 teams. But go on thinking its cute, keep thinking your one of the best agents here. People won't put up with it and eventually you will be lucky to get a dot on a huntsman run team.

Your receiver is so bad they're disbanding the team after this season just to get away from you

We come here and play on flicking CPU teams because team ownership is not permitted. It's bad fucking business. It's like making a downpayment on something you will never be allowed to use. People want to buy teams, players desperately need teams but none of it is allowed. This game and company deserve to fail if admin can't even check the game's status, or maybe they just don't care about those who have invested time and money into this fucking garbage product. It's and easy fix bit they just don't give a damn about their investors or are that fucking lazy. This game was suppose to be marketed for new agents yet you all are telling me only experienced agents can play on human teams. This is a fucking joke. Get off the fucking couch Bort and save your company.

I think you derailed your own thread G.

I also thought you quit for good because you stopped posting and your 1 Free player is still not retired and rebuilt.

If you are still looking for open discussion, I'll spell it out for you. This game is dodgeball and your player wasn't picked. Feelings are gonna get hurt around here. There are a lot more Longhornfan types coming down the pipe. Nort gave you a step by step guide on how to proceed on your issue, but I guess we can continue your thread if you want. What was the original issue? Your WR along with 200 others need a team?

My issue is this game was suppose to be noob friendly. But I'm hearing only a select group of agents in networks actually get on human teams unless you have a perfect build and wack the right guy off. Noobs and outsiders are pretty much stuck on boring ass CPU teams. I know a few of you jack it to this garbage but the average user really has no reason to play this game. My "feelings" are not hurt because it is another terrible blunder by Warriorgeneral. The whole system was not thought through or at least followed up on. This is my free player but for those paying to play being told sorry you were not picked so you don't get to play a game you pay for would infuriate me, especially when agents want to buy teams but cant. Ellis and others kept telling try GLB2, go to GLB2, play GLB2 I'm here and it is a joke. I originally wanted build help to get on a team this season. Now I realize the issue is much much deeper than a build.

it's like how GLB1 was, why is this one any different? GLB1 it was all about getting into networks and getting good build plans and if you didn't you got stuck on crappy teams.

the problem here is there are less teams with human owners than glb1

I tried to get build advice and nobody wants to share with you the info

Make a statement that's worth of a response and I'll give you one. Your statement was filled with zero facts and an empty threat. And you have one dot one one top 10 team.

And I see you and your little crew have to refer to luck again. Luck has nothing to do with my success in this game or GLB1. Being one of the best is what leads to my success. You keep hoping that luck will work out your way.

It's a social game, so to some extent you need to be social when playing it to have success. If you want your player on a human owned team, you are going to need to do some work. That means making the player better and reaching out to team owners/GMs to inquire about spots on the team. It also means taking advice from those owners/GMs.

And that's not to say that I disagree with you about users not being able to buy teams. I agree that they should be able to and that it was a poor decision by GLB to not allow that. But not being able to buy a team isn't the only thing preventing you from getting your player on a human owned team; you also could take some steps to fix that and it doesn't seem like you are.

I added the conditioning that was suggested and am working on the other things. It is all I can do. What the fuck is the point though if all human teams are filled? I'm just pissing into the wind. This game was suppose to be friendly towards new players to GLB. You needs a perfect build and be tight with the good ol' boys to get on a team. When I see that many team less players if just pisses me off that Bort and co. don't even give a shit about it enough to fix it. Over priced and under maintained is not a recipe for sucess. This was suppose to be their baby, the game that sent the real game out to the pasture. I can't even buy a team to put my player on.

I'm also not sure how everyone knows perfect builds when this game is still very young. Every piece of build advice has been different from the previous advisor making me wonder if any one really knows.

It took me all of about 30 seconds to find a team with an active owner and space for a WR: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/346

PM the owner and offer your WR up for his team. Tell him you will take his advice in the future while building your WR. If he doesn't want the receiver. Find another team with roster space and an active owner. It's not hard.

Osiris,

Your WR is fixable, but currently he needs some help, is what others have offered. It's salvageable. A respec was probably in order in the off season to streamline signature abilities, but you can continue to level up if you wish on a CPU team I believe, all the while bumping a post in Players Looking for Team in forums. You can also get onto human controlled teams if you send some PM's around and network a little.

Show you are active and willing to boost. I was in your shoes half way through season 2 when I discovered glb2 and I spent an hour going through the best teams in rookie leagues and looking at players mine would outperform, and I sent PM's out to a dozen owners asking them to take a look at my build. I got added.

There is less entitlement in GLB2 the higher up your player gets, because teams fall off and there's only a few left. It causes competition for spots and not everyone finds a home. As an agent, it's your job to figure out the best route for your players career. Weather that is remaking it, or networking and trying to convince a GM/owner your player will play backup and you will take advice on how to build him. That is probably the route I would take now that the season has started.

I picked up two burner WR's in off season that were slower than Longhornfan's, but had better hands, and also they had room to grow over the next 2 tiers. Your WR is much faster than the guys got, AND he has room to grow. 66 hands, 41 grip (enough for burner), 54 catch in traffic, 57 consistency, your WR deserves to be playing on a human team. It stinks you can't just buy one and put him on it, but that'st he meta the developers chose. I can see why you have beef with it, unfortunately it's some what of a darwin system where the higher you go, the more scrutinized your player is. Again, I agree your dude needs a contract, but with limited teams contuining to renew, it's just a little tougher as teams are going to favor the guys with 60+ hands, 40 Catch-in-trafic, 40 consistency, and silver and gold abilities.

That's my honest take in an attempt to be helpful.
