Pretty sure I have already highlighted that the Rappers aren't as good offensively as I had hoped. Daddy beat Glasglow though so you are welcome.

The problem with this is that because of the sim's structure, there is no way to account for a new gameplan being made for a game.

I don't really care about whatever else you said, but you hit it right on the money here. Exactly. Gameplanning means something. And to say there is no way to account for a new gameplan is suuuuuuper silly because there obviously is.

theres no way to account for a gameplan you havent seen before
the opposite side of this coin is the person running the brand new gameplan will have no way to know if its going to work out
it would be interesting if there were a penalty for using a gameplan you've never used before to imitate the obvious problems youd have with that in real life
not that thats a good idea, just interesting

Well there is. But it won't net you the same results as specifically gameplanning for a certain result. That is what makes the game fun.

Which leads to blowouts because the defense kept running the same bad play over and over.

Um, I've played bhall's teams enough, and scouted them even more that when combined with my experience at which plays work in which situations I had a really good idea that my new gameplan was going to work out even though I never tested it in actual game prior to that.

But if you watch that game, you'll notice we both ran a lot of a very few number of plays. In sims, there is usually a 'best' answer, and both bhall and I built our gameplans to use that best answer. The only trick is matching up that best against the right situations on offense.

What I want is to take the 'best' answer and make it not-quite-as-good if you overuse it. Hopefully this will lead to more diverse playcalling and far more interesting games.

If you are running Middle Overload as your only play and the offense keeps pitching. That is you being an idiot.

You are the one talking about using one bad play over and over.
