Meh hurries and sacks are a product of play calling so far so that's also a useless statistic.

Not to discount "not allowing sacks and hurries" because I think that is important, but pancakes are not exactly worthless. If in the right scheme cakes are an excellent tool for offensive lineman to drain morale from the opposing team.

Not quite. Pretty sure there are many teams who run 40 times a game, yet the range of pancakes amongst these teams will be hundreds.
