Hmmmm, football and a Canadian east final. Something doesn't seem right about this. Where the hell is the hockey game GLB?

Interesting note for the final four.

1386.25 - Chiefs (17th to start the season at 1369.81)
1373.52 - Muscle (18th to start the season at 1367.65)
1366.15 - Peaks (were not boosted up yet so were at 30)
1364.85 - Markt (19th to start the season at 1362.43)

Not a 1400+ in sight, weird.

BADGER'S WORLD

We've climbed the mountain together but only two teams remain standing and only one will get to peak over the top. What's at stake? GLB Casual GOLD as the Detroit Muscle go for the second gold (Season 17 Champs) and Twin Peaks try for that first title in as many seasons. In one corner we have the heavyweight who's done it before and in the other we have the new comer staring destiny in the eye. Who'll blink first will be telling but as of now Detroit is the heavy favorite going into this game as they try to keep the east title winning streak going.

THE ROAD TO GLORY

Twin Peaks - The sledding for Peaks has not been easy taking to the road in three straight games. They took out the Dot Fathers in round one 27-13, beat the Moscow Musketeers in round two (38-24), and then took out the Charlesdown Chiefs in the Conference Title game 26-16.

Detroit Muscle - I don't know, it was a rather easy run for Detroit so far beating the HOOD in round one 28-9, taking out the DIABLO DOTS in round two 33-10, and then smacking the dog crap out of the two time defending champ 59-3.

DOTS TO WATCH

RB Dominque WIlkins - The Human Highlight reel doesn't rack up the crazy yardage of some backs but in the scheme of the Peaks there no other important dot. Nique was clutch in the conference title game coming up with 63 yards on 19 carries but scoring two TD's. The dot gets the tough yardage and first downs which keep the O on the field as evidenced by the near 40 minutes of TOP the Peaks had over the Chiefs.

Muscle RB's Lil Fast and Gvinnman V92.LB40 - These two backs just brutalized the BM defense in the conference title game (131 and 132 rushing yards each with V92LB40 getting four TD's) and when they both show up in force this offense is just tough to stop. Peaks will need to contain them to have a shot at staying in this one.

Peaks Musts to Win
-Must slow the ground game down of the Muscle.
-Must control the clock with the O to keep the D fresh.
-Must not get down early and keep it close for a shot late.
-Must win the battle at the LOS on D (Muscle with 50 cakes against BM)
-Must protect the QB.

Muscle Musts to Win
-Must keep the solid balance shown in the conference final.
-Must not let the rushing QB cause much damage.
-Must not let the Peaks O dictate the tempo with there O.
-Must send the first salvo across the bow of the young contender.
-Must get the Peaks uncomfortable and playing from behind.

As much as I like Cinderella the Muscle D has been on a tear since week one and not let off the gas as I'd peg this D as one of the best seasons that I recall seeing.

3) Drew Breesy really well built imo, feels like he gets through his reads and doesn't do dumb shit as much as other QB dots

4) detroit blocks really well, secret to their success. you can't get DvG to fire on your 6 strength/70 catching dots if you can't get to the runner

Not a single dot is built that way. Hell, the MVP Walls (from last season) only has lol catching
