The player has lots of useful skills for stopping a pass rusher. Footwork and balance are important, combined with average pass blocking tech. There's not going to be a huge difference between a o-line with 30 and 20 in a skill. The difference will be more apparent in later levels when you have specialized and the CPU has 50 points in toughness.

So later the CPU will look like Corndog's builds?

nothing. my QB has 50 in toughness, 40 in heart and 40 in leadership. averages 240 yards a game passing, 85 yards rushing. feel it.

Testers asked for the playoffs and were told we didn't need to worry about it. That said, even if we had tested the playoffs there's no way to say a tie would've happened.

As for the rest of your rant...

True. We asked to test playoffs, this is the only thing that I would put as 'blame' on the ownership here. We might have seen a tie in the 4 seasons we tested, we might not have.

The "pull down and run" was powerful all season, make the adjustment to your 5 WR set in general or it will happen again.

It's what got my QB his MvP, but the last few weeks they haven't been working as well. A lot more penetration from D-lines...I should have mixed in some of the 5WR QB draw that Korean guy was running ...GG btw.

Nothing, if you are trying to prevent morale loss and such, but if it means you only have 40-45 in a blocking skill (because of non-boosting lack of SPs) as a result, you aren't going to stand up to a solid pass rush. I'd take blocking skills at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio over toughness, which the CPU player will not do.

Looks like only 3 runs really did a huge beating. And they were from GL, Pro Set, and Strong I. But ya those 5 WR runs seem to look pretty nice too.

i checked a bunch of his, they were all rookie 70..so i stand by my statement i started with. If a rookie cpu 70 player can dominate a rookie 93 with 2 boots..which is what 10k more exp maybe?..2500 for break point..plus 800ish per game from 70 to 93% plus 4k i think for the 2 boosts. Then i would say something else is going on as well, or we as players have no idea how to build. My team is one of the best teams out there according to the ladder.

The balance and footwork helped him a lot more than toughness, imo.

No one is saying your team is bad.

Your opponent ran some stuff you didn't plan for. Believe it or not you can build the best players in the game but if you don't gameplan you may not win.

But the pull downs got a LOT of 1st downs. At this level, keeping the drive alive is so important. At Vet, you can go 3 and out on four drives in row because on that 5th drive you are going to get a lot of 45+ yard plays to make up for it.
