I mean it is the same coders and devs, so why wouldn't it?

More points into conditioning = less points into the other attributes that actually build your player up, which is what Bort & Co. wants.

Again, I suggest that 60 points in top end needs for GLB was not any sort of substantial part of a build for classic.

OK whatever.

Just know it will be a part here, it's only logical.

Thanks for the tips. I see that conditioning is very important.

I'd add 10 to quickness and footwork and 20 to conditioning next. I bet your CB is dead on perma 1 energy by halftime as it is with 20 conditioning.

Can anyone give my guy pointers? (besides conditioning as I've read from this thread)

Topping out at 67 man awareness is pretty rough. For what you can do now, get deflecting up.

I wouldn't worry about the man awareness. Maybe at higher levels it will be a bigger deal, but right now it doesn't seem to help with much. You gotta do conditioning first, 20 is way too low. After that deflection, vertical, footwork, and quickness would be where I'd look to.

Deion Flanders is obviously successful, so I'm just offering another view, not trying to contradict your advice. In my experience footwork and vertical haven't been very necessary for the success of my CBs.

Dennis Fossenberg in particular: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/24524

If I were you, Chronic23, I'd work take conditioning, def. consistency, toughness and heart to around 30. After that, I'd pump intercepting (because you chose Ballhawk) and deflecting.

I would think with footwork that low fast WRs would run past him before he could get out of his back pedal. Pretty interesting.

You call 47% on a deflection CB successful?

Depending on what you ask your CB's to do, yeah.

I'm 117/221 passes defended, with 22 PDs and 2 Ints and only 1 missed tackle. I'm not trying to get personal here, but none of the CBs on AGDTD even come close. He may not be the best in the game, but he is definitely successful.

Edit - In fact, I just looked through the top 3 ladder teams, and only Sebastian Torbear (Alpine) and Dhalsim (Ronin) are arguably as or more effective than Dennis Fossenberg is. Sebastian Torbear's receptions allowed percentage is amazing, but he doesn't have any Ints and Dhalsim has almost as many PDs and a single Int, but his receptions allowed percentage is on the wrong side of 50%.

I never said my CBs were any good lol...

I'm just saying your opinion of successful is kinda twisted.
