Sorry guys, I didn't want to break down 16 games for week one. Since my team is in the West I'll focus my predictions on the Western Conference (we all know its the best conference anyway - ). I have no clue how to do the rankings I see around the forums so I'll just do this. I'll try to do it but at times work, gym and bitches eats up my time and not being on here everyday may slow me down but I will try to keep up.
HOW THE WEST WAS WON I know, how original!!!!
After the cross-conference clashes we are all left with a 8-8 tie. So no lol East or West...damn shame, bragging rights are usually worth a post or three. Now, its time for conference action where rubber meets the road. The first week looks like some solid match ups so I'll get right into that.
WEEK 2 PREDICTIONS:
Cybertron Autodots @ Auburn Tigers: Both teams dropped their openers so an important one early. Have to say I was a little disappointed looking at the Tiger roster and not seeing a dot name "Bo Jackson." That should be an automatic dot for this team (The QB Project or firemang@2 - how about a name change request - The Autodots are full of CPU's and didn't score in the first game and I don't expect that to change in this one as the Tigers roll.
Score: Auburn 80 Cybertron 0
Grave Diggers Union @ Syracuse Bulldogs: I only got the match up bars this early and the season and they are nearly dead even with the Bulldogs getting a slight nod over Union. Was a little surprised to see Union drop their opener but do think they will bounce back with a better showing in week 2. However, the 'Cuse ground game and D will be too much for the Union squad and it will end up a lot uglier than the fight through the first few quarters.
Score: Syracuse 52 Union 31
The LEGION'S Foy Destroyers @ CrossFit Clowns: The bars say FOY DESTROYERS in a route and I have no reason to doubt the all-mighty bars. Crossfit looked solid in their opener but I have the feeling the Destroy D won't be giving Clowns RB Dan Bai1ey 265 yards. It's going to be a reality check against a much better D and overall team. Expect the Destroyers to start pulling away in the 2nd and to keep it going until the final gun goes off.
Score: The LEGION's 49 Crossfit 10
Green Bay Maulers @ Brotherly Love Metro Stars: In my world I will go 16-0. That's my way of saying I would never pick my team to lose. Hell, I think I'd beat every Casual Pro team. Now, with that out of the way I would say the Metro Stars are favored in this one just by the way each team looked in week one. An early good luck to BLMS (I think I may need the luck in this one)
Score: Green Bay 31 Brotherly Love 28
Nevada Hillbillie's @ Aalborg 89'ers: Nevada won their opener in a thriller OT game but will not need OT to rack up their second win of the season. The 89' ers were blanked in week one and I don't see them scoring enough to keep up. Expect a huge game from the Hillbillie's returner Henry Kickreturnguy.
Score: Nevada 77 Aalborg 3
Bandit Kings @ The NFL 2012 All Pro Selections: The almighty bars say the Kings are king here but the AP Selections have human dots and not CPU dots. I will keep my faith in mankind and say The NFL will get the W here and shake up the bar theory I'm currently using - make me a believer AP Selections!!
Score: The NFL 2012 24 Bandit 10
Wornout Bastards @ Her Majesty's Dragons: Wornout has been wearing teams out early on with their 1-0 start. I will get to use a similar tag line next week as the Bastards will roll to 2-0 as they face a group of CPU players.
Score: Wornout 28 Her Majesty 0
Oakland Vipers @ Washington Insiders: I have to tip my hand to the Vipers as they won their opener and have three levels on the Insiders. Yes, even at these lower levels that's a pretty big difference and Oakland should roll to a 2-0 start to their season.
Score: Oakland 56 Washington 0
ELITE EIGHT: Have to go with the eight teams that won in week one.
1. Syracuse Bulldogs - If this were hoops their week one game would have been an uncontested layup.
2. The LEGION'S Foy Destroyers - Took their opponent to the woodshed...a couple of times actually.
3. CrossFit Clowns - Had an easy one in the opener but will get tested in week 2.
4. Brotherly Love Metro Stars - Cruised to an easy W against a quality opponent.
5. Oakland Vipers - Eeked out a four point W but whether its one or a thousand a W is a W.
6. Nevada Hillbillie's - Got a huge OT win to kick the season off (see below).
7. Green Bay Maulers - 28 points in the first quarter then nothing the rest of the game.
8. Wornout Bastards - Lv 1's who gives a crap, still better than lol EAST.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
KR/PR Henry Kickreturnguy, Nevada Hillbillie's. Henry had 5 kick returns for 145.5 yards (29.1 per return) and 8 punt returns for 195.5 yards (24.4 per return) and two TD's. His returns were instrumental in Nevada's overtime win as he had back to back returns when his team was down 24-10 with 3:16 remaining on the clock for his first one and less than two minutes on the second return.

Down 24-10 in the fourth quarter Henry took it to the house - while only 36 yards it cut the lead to 24-17.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2025153&pbp_id=2270704
Down 24-17 with less than two minutes left in the game Henry takes a punt and goes 82 yards to even things up and force OT.
PLAY OF THE WEEK:

With the game on the line in overtime what do you do - give it to RB Montee Ball. Ball "carried" the Nevada Hillbillie's to a overtime W over the East's Donkey Punchin Kangaroos 31-24. Curious - do they kick the extra point in college or pro to end the game (I don't think so - TD = game over).
I need to get my @ss to bed.
